Ruben missed a lot of notes on that song. He was off tune in several places. The judges are doing nobody any favors by not being honest. They are supposed to be musicians. Their bias is REALLY showing on that song.

Yuck on Ruben's second song. Yuck yuck yuck.
The judges do seem to be pulling for Ruben. I like Ruben well enough, but I thought he was off pitch a couple of times on that song. I don't think Ruben is exceptional though. And: I just did not like the arrangment either. Different styles for different folks, I guess.

He is nervous. You can really see it. That song was not well done. I am feeling kind of bad for him also. They are putting a lot of pressure on him. He knows what's going on. He knows they are pushing him and it's a lot to live up to.

I didn't know that, but it's good to hear. (I just hope neither one of them do any moral slip-ups then: You know how the press just loves to deflate those they perceive as "do-gooders." [Think: Bill Bennett]
The lighting on Clay for this song was awful!

Are they picking their own songs? I didn't like that song. He did it well but it certainly wasn't his best. All of the songs the Beatles have done and that's the one he sings?
