We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Ten Iraqis have filed a complaint in a Belgian court accusing Gen. Franks of war crimes in Iraq. Belgium has a law that allows their courts to try war crimes committed by anyone anywhere in the world - "universal jurisdiction" as it is called by some. The United States is warning Belgium if the case is taken up it will have serious diplomatic repercussions.
Heard much from the Hollywild left lately? Probably not. Most of the anti-war stars have decided to beat a solid retreat in the face of a lightning quick war with broad support across the country.
The Unitd States is considering moving its main mid-east air command center from Saudi Arabia to Qatar.
And today is, or was, Saddam's birthday.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Beat it, lightfoot. Lol! That's me. I'll watch Wyoming from the train...
Maybe you'll find some good beef out there? Last Summer I swung through Laramie from Denver on the way to Chicago, just to say I'd been there. It looked a lot like every other place... Micky D's, car dealers and Walmart. Oh well. It played good in ads in 1923, though.
I'm gonna tell the Vice President on you. His best friend's daughter was born in Laramie. He's gonna be p.o.'d at you. You better come back with some friendly stories about Wyoming...

Before I go to bed, I will share the email my mom just sent about the burglary at our cabin.
Timberlakes has been hit with a number of burglaries in the past few weeks...at least 7 that I am aware of 5 occuring between April 24 and 25th.... 1 on Lake Pines, 4 on Aspen, 1 on Ridge Line, and another on Deer Lake. 4 Arrests have been made. Most KNOWN property that was stolen has been recovered. Two of those arrested were residents of Timber Lakes.
If you have not been to your home recently, you need to either check as soon as possible or contact me and I will check your property for indications of burglary. Most of the homes hit were entered through windows that were broken out.
If you do find your property has been entered DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING OR GO IN YOUR BUILDING! CALL THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT and wait for a Law Enforcment Officer. Our security officer does not have law enforcement authority. Your property is a crime scene and can hamper efforts to identify who the perpetrator(s) are if you disturb the scene. Finger prints and other evidence, such as foot prints, tire tracks, etc, can help law enforcement make an arrest.

Night, one and all. Mozie, I pinged you to an article by Jay Nordlinger. He writes about some new courses in theory and musicology. The subjects will make your skin crawl.
To: Utah Girl
Oky, I'll go check that ping.........
Thanks, and good night, Toots!!!:)

Fourteen angels, Johnny..........
To: MozartLover
I hope he is conked by the pain meds. Ugh, that sounded super painful what he went through today. I am really off to bed now, it is after midnight.

re. robbery/vandalism of your cabin.
I feel for you. It's a senseless, vicious attack. We had a bunch drunks trash our family summer place in Maine two years ago. They ransacked the cabins, tossing sofas out windows and generally making a mess. Sure, insurance paid for it, but the sense of violation still rakes us all. I mean, they ***-ed with stuff my great-grandfather built. That makes me insane.
The amazing thing is that over 80 years with the camp, we've never had such a problem. It's a refuge for us, and it was attacked.
I'm glad for you that they've caught at least some of the perps. Our rapists got away. Good luck, and I hope you're whole again with it in time for summer.
I'm thinking how petty I am to have been so upset about this given the things that happen to others. I guess I can say I can relate, in this small way. I preferred ignorance.
