The State Department is issuing a travel advisory for Ontario relating to the SARS virus.

California may run out of cash in a few weeks; their solution will be to pay vendors and others with IOUs.

Gay rights groups are upset that Sen. Santorum compared homosexuality to bigamy, polygamy, incest, and adultery.

And Hans Blix says the United States lacks credibility in its efforts to find Iraq's banned weaponry. He warned the UN Security Council that only the UN, not the US, could provide an objective assessment of anything found in Iraq. He further accused the United States and Britain in deliberately undermining his efforts before the war.

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who gave their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!

He got his E2 rank by virtue of his college standing; at the end of this school year (next month) his rank should go up to PFC (Private First Class).

I guess he'll have to sit out school next year because of his basic and medic training? Will he try to go to summer school to help compensate for that or is he all schooled out for now, as my kids usually were at the end of the school year?

I woke up. switched to CNNfn and almost passed out, they were showing a long show on the prisons and the torture SayDamns 'hired help' put on those poor people, it was terrible, thousands and thousands of people, children, teenagers, old folks, brutal, terrible. What to to me was that it was CNNfn showing this, ain't normal for them to do this, its usually how wrong the USA was be going in.

Now, back to bed.

He is schooled out. He wants to work this summer, get an apartment with a buddy, and enjoy life for a while.

He will take all of next year off due to training, but he prolly would have taken a year off anyway.

In the fall of '04 two of his buddies will be attending UW-Mad and the three of them will get an apartment down there, and he will return to school.

He's got it all planned.:)

I thought you were up awfully late when I saw your ping. :) I have seen the accounts of the torture. One account was this morning on Fox News, a normal house in a quiet neighborhood was a jail and torture center. They interviewed one poor man who had been tortured there. Awful awful things happened.

I stumble into the kitchen to turn the coffee pot on and said to myself 'whats for breafast on ATRW', log in and yep, there it was, soothing, tasteful, wonderful breakfast. I can just see Lorena putting on her apron, standing over the stove, wiping the sweat from her brow, stiring, tasting, smiling and it is all for us. THANKS!
