Thanks Kay....I was going by my memory and knowledge of the similar area in VA.

This is a lovely book called They Loved to Laugh It's about a Quaker family and a young orphan girl who joins the family & has to adjust to their ways.

I was in a rush ...... phone was ringing and I was trying to answer your question in a hurry because I figured your time was limited.

M-i-l is seeing some very gradual improvement still. We're going to try to get her home for a long weekend at the end of May ...... sort of a trial run to see how she handles household tasks ..... will let her do some laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. ..... there are both pros and cons about her going back home so will take lots of evaluation. But we're delighted with the progress she's made.
