What is worse are the Americans who do know who he is - and who defend him and think he is a hero.Peta Jennings. Dan Rather, Danny Glover.. et all.. Daniel Ortega would be proud of his comrades.

Up around Sequim, WA. I know it wasn't Idaho but it looked kind of ranchy, so I figured it would bring back memories to Cuttnhorse....Am I forgiven????

Nice photo Westy.
We live on the other side of Idaho where it's a little more deserty, lots of prickly pear on the open range.
McCall is a really nice area...property values are starting to skyrocket in the McCall area.
Westy, what were you doing in a tent in Warren...that place is still on the backside of nowhere? Did they have tents when you were a wee one??
To: Mo1
Good stuff Mo - thanks.

If I was Westie ... I'd smack you for that comment .. LOLWesty knows I'm joking, heck, I'm probably as old as he is.
Westy remembers when he was a kid and I'll bet, like me had to walk to school, up hill both ways, in the snow, barefoot. It was so icy, I had to wrap barb-wire around my bare feet to keep from slipping.

Westy, what were you doing in a tent in Warren...that place is still on the backside of nowhere? Did they have tents when you were a wee one??This was back about 1931..My Dad and Uncle were stringing a phone line between Warren and a power plant on the S.Fork of the Salmon. We had a big ole wall tent that was moved every few days along the road to live in...Cooking over a camp fire, washing clothes in a tin tub that seconded as a bath tub....
Warren was sort of booming. There was a gold dredge working just out of town and I remember the town store. You could buy anything from a magazine to a pair of overalls and everything in between...
If you are near my age, what the heck are you doing traipsing around the world??? Get in that ole rocking chair...lol

I haven't visited Warren, but have friends in Boise who have a cabin there. Apparently it's turned into a weekend retreat for the Boise bunch, both winter and summer. Our friends spend more time at their cabin in the winter than they do in summer...accessable only by snowmobile. They're nuts about the place.
If you were chasin' bugs around the South Fork of the Salmon in 1931, you might have a few years on me. LOL! I have to get my little ranchito paid for before I can retire to a place to work. I'm the type if I don't have lots of physical stuff to do, I go potato(e).
