You are making me laugh so hard. Thanks, I really needed to laugh today. :)

I haven't said that it is nice to see you here a bit more. It is really nice. :)

Utah Girl, thanks so much! It's good to be here, believe me, but we'll be making another trip soon...
Are you winding up your New England stay?
I know it's been hard for you, and hope that despite that, or maybe because of it, you've learned some new things with the experience.

I like them a little "less fresh".
Absolutely! For a Peep to be really tasty, you have to leave it unwrapped a couple of days so it gets nice and chewy.
Sigh....Easter candy......I do love jellybeans (NO licorice) and I like the tiny cadberry eggs that are chocolate with the hard candy shell.....to die for!
Love the robin's eggs that are chocolate/malted milk balls....
Sigh.....I may have to slink off to the store and buy some candy....all the kids are grown and gone and the grandkiddies live across the US in California.....
Childhood memories (while we're making confessions) My mother would hide candy eggs and all four of us kids looked for them the next day. We started with the youngest (she got the eggs that were the easiest to find), and we each had a certain amount we could collect. Since I was the oldest, it took me awhile to find the ones hardest hid. I ALWAYS got the one hid in my father's shoe - - not because the other kids couldn't find it -- it's because they didn't want that stinky egg. I always felt shortchanged because I always put that candy egg aside and refused to eat it.....
sigh....Easter memories......

I go home in about 4 weeks. I've actually enjoyed my time in Massachusetts, but it has been a hard four months. Good experience, not one I care to repeat. :)

I pinged you to a prayer request thread on the other side. Would you please use your list on that thread to ping ATRW prayer warriors.

I love the Cadbury chocolate egss with the thin hard shell. Yum, I found a small bag at the grocery store. I'm saving it for tomorrow. I had an Easter basket on my desk at work, and filled it with Easter candy, for treats for everyone. Pretty fun, it brought the kid out in us all.

Went to store to get ham, mashed potatoes, string beans, fried onions, mushroom soup, lettuce, tomatoes, croutons.

I step away from the thread for a spell, and...
oh boy.
Dog - this is seriously not going to meat with Mrs. Chairman's approval...

I couldn't sleep the other night, so turned on the TV and there was a Martha Stewart show, with her banker Jane as the guest. Jane cooked her Easter dinner for Martha, it was quite hilarious. Ham with Coca Cola Glaze, sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top, and an old-fashioned Jello mold. Jane pokes fun at Martha, a lot. Tells Martha that she will open the cans for her, since Martha isn't used to using anything out of cans.

Sounds very good. I got a ham yesterday, but forgot the fresh asparagas,so will have to return to store for that.
Utah, didn't realize you had 4 more weeks? Thought it was up at the end of this month.

Asparagus. Yum, that sounds good, I'll have to see if there is any at the grocery store. I'm invited to dinner on Sunday, I'm bringing rolls.

Yum, that sounds good, I'll have to see if there is any at the grocery store. If it is, it'll be horrifically expensive. For some reason, asparagus is really expensive this year.
