I like them a little "less fresh".

Absolutely! For a Peep to be really tasty, you have to leave it unwrapped a couple of days so it gets nice and chewy.

Sigh....Easter candy......I do love jellybeans (NO licorice) and I like the tiny cadberry eggs that are chocolate with the hard candy shell.....to die for!

Love the robin's eggs that are chocolate/malted milk balls....

Sigh.....I may have to slink off to the store and buy some candy....all the kids are grown and gone and the grandkiddies live across the US in California.....

Childhood memories (while we're making confessions) My mother would hide candy eggs and all four of us kids looked for them the next day. We started with the youngest (she got the eggs that were the easiest to find), and we each had a certain amount we could collect. Since I was the oldest, it took me awhile to find the ones hardest hid. I ALWAYS got the one hid in my father's shoe - - not because the other kids couldn't find it -- it's because they didn't want that stinky egg. I always felt shortchanged because I always put that candy egg aside and refused to eat it.....

sigh....Easter memories......

I love the Cadbury chocolate egss with the thin hard shell. Yum, I found a small bag at the grocery store. I'm saving it for tomorrow. I had an Easter basket on my desk at work, and filled it with Easter candy, for treats for everyone. Pretty fun, it brought the kid out in us all.
