Hey, where is that freak show, Badhdad Bob hiding? Hmmm. He is usually in front of the cameras talking about how they are winning the war against the infidels.

Where's Tariq Aziz? From NRO:
TARIQ AZIZ [Kathryn Jean Lopez] Has not been seen recently. Martin Savidge on CNN just said that U.S. troops have been to his Baghdad home and not only was he not there, but his furniture was covered--as if he fled and hoped to come back one day. The latter is not likely a wise plan. Posted at 02:56 PM
There were rumors a day or two ago that he was under house arrest.

I understand he & his wife went out to dinner a couple of nights ago to a cozy little restaurant in the Mansour district. ;o)

I hate to admit this, but I will almost miss Baghdad Bob. Most of us, trying to escape the troubles of the day, can sometimes retreat to our own personal 'Happy Place'. I think Bob was so good at such trips that he was just doing his best to report his trips to the world media...
Yes, I will almost miss Bob. But since I had my scope re-zeroed last week, I won't miss him at all!

Newly hired Cincinnati Bengal Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf stated that the beleaguered team's fortunes have made a sudden turnaround, and that a Super Bowl victory was imminent. "I am not talking about the Cleveland people and the Pittsburgh people. I am talking about those mercenaries. ... They have started throwing those big foam novelty hats, but they are not hats, they are booby traps to kill the children." and added, "They are going to surrender or be burned in their locker rooms. They will surrender, it is they who will surrender. We will burn their stomachs with inferior 8 dollar hotdogs and warm expensive beer"

That guy is just about too funny to be real. I keep thinking he's gonna pull off the face mask and Eddie Murphy or the like will be underneath.

Said on TV Aziz is gone out of country apparently. His furniture in his very nice home is covered with sheets etc. to protect it. In other news Baghdad Bob may be the new fill in host for Carville and Begala on Crossfire!
To: dormee
He's preparing to replace Kofi Annan.

His audition having proven a smashing success, he is in Cairo putting the finishing touches on his new radio talk show.

Where's Baghdad Bob? Probably under about 500 tons of rubble, or he could be spread out all over a city block in Baghdad.

ROTFLMAO! I'm splitting a gut here! You guys to too frikkin' funny. Man, the funny thing about Baghdad Bob is that we really do miss the bafoon, since he's provided so much humor that late night comedy couldn't improve on it, lol.

Bob and the UN Ambassador would make a heck of a stand-up team -- the next Martin and Lewis.
To: dormee
I had heard that this guy actually turned his brother-in-law in for remarks he made about Saddam. How do you suppose "BOB" was compensated?

...he is in Cairo putting the finishing touches on his new radio talk show. Could it be that he is the new Democratic hopeful to take back the airways from Rush Limbaugh and the 'dominant conservative-controlled' radio cabal? Just the right temprament, wears rose-colored blinders, doesn't let inconvenient facts faze him, knows how to stay 'on message' nad works well with manic bosses.

I don't remember seeing Ollie on FoxNews today, but I think that's only because all day they concentrated on the Marines in Badhdad and particularly on the destruction of Saddam Insane's statue. I think Ollie is embedded with troops located elsewhere. But, like you, I hope he's safe, along with the rest of our military.
