Anyone else watching the "FOX News ALERTS"? This makes a total of 15 in 20 minutes. There so busy flashing on the screen they are missing the quick interviews at the UN. I know this may be hard to pull off with all of the "Breaking News" but it gets a bit tiresome.

Yes. But any thread announcing that there will be no vote at the UN is not.

With all of the vital information coming in right now, is this a real and legitimate use of "Breaking News?"
I'd say no.

This morning on "Fox and Friends" they were talking to Ollie North there in Kuwait with a group of Marines. Right as he was saying that this group was "prepared for anything" his low battery indicator came on over the video phone. I was laughing my @$$ off on that one.

FOX isnt good at Breaking News, stick with MSNBC or even CNN for Breaking News coverage. For commentary and political coverage stick with FOX.

Agreed. I've switched to the others. Tony Snow or Brit Hume could probably pull this off but not the cutie on Fox.

I just don't understand why some folks get so worked up about FNC's alerts. I like them. I hear the tone, I look up to see what it is, and if I'm not interested I go back to what I'm doing. No bother.
Do they also feel this way when CBS or Fox flash the football scores every ten minutes?
