We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our fredom, die in vain!!
There is a new tact from the anti-war crowd in the news this morning. They are calling for bringing back the draft. Reps Charlie Rangel of New York and John Conyers of Michigan have two complaints: (1) the fighting force of the Nation is composed of too high a level of minorities; and (2) they believe the US would deal with Iraq peacefully if politicians knew their children would be the one's in harms way.
The Supreme Court of California has ruled that it is rape even if sex is started with the consent of both adults, but the female changes her mind after the act has actually started.
Charles Pickering has been renominated by the Bush Administration for a Federal Appellate judgeship.
And there are two new ad spots that has been designed by Arianna Huffington of the Detroit Group which suggests that SUV owners are supporting terrorists. From the New York Times:
"This is George," a girl's voice says of an oblivious man at a gas station. "This is the gas that George bought for his S.U.V." The screen then shows a map of the Middle East. "These are the countries where the executives bought the oil that made the gas that George bought for his S.U.V." The picture switches to a scene of armed terrorists in a desert. "And these are the terrorists who get money from those countries every time George fills up his S.U.V."
A second commercial depicts a series of ordinary Americans saying things like: "I helped hijack an airplane"; "I gave money to a terrorist training camp in a foreign country"; "What if I need to go off-road?"
At the close, the screen is filled with the words: "What is your S.U.V. doing to our national security?"
YET (!!!!), these are the very same folks that do not want us to expand our domestic sources of oil by drilling in ANWR. They should sit down and shut up, because they are hypocrites - each and every one of them. Why? Because it matters not what vehicle you drive, a portion of the fuel can be argued to have come from Saudi Arabia - so they are just as guilty following their line of reasoning.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

You are such dears.--Precious, precious folk.
I still need some time away......for a bit.
Your notes really put everything in perspective for me, and I sincerely thank-you for it.
You are too kind.....I know I don't deserve such outpouring.

AND A GOOD A.M. TO ONE AND ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
Thought I would just show the headlines in the 'fish wrapper' paper here on the coast for today. First, 4 teenagers killed an elderly person for disability check, three males, one female. Another is that a homeless lady was found FROZEN to death under a hiway bridge, dead for several days, another is BIG headlinds of OUR President Bush renominating Pickering, again--gotta tell ya, Pickering is one good man, backed by whites and blacks here in MS, a good Christian man at that (need more of that kind on the bench for sure), and FLA beats MS State in basketball, so you see, we are just as normal as anyone else down here.
Cut my walk short yesterday because of my hectic day but am going to make up for it today when I get back from taking gd to school, probally put in 5 miles, maybe 6. Got to run up to the farm to stake out a few things, maybe take my hand plows up there for my garden, dig up a few seelings and replant them in some vacant spots in a tree line across the back, a little of that farming stuff you know.
But, right now it is off to get gd to school so, se ya'll in a cuple of hours. Prayers for all for those special needs, for OUR President and, as always for the elderly, so much given by so many over the years. Have a good day.
