The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Yup, saw that one.
She said it to another woman last night.
The funniest part was when she was "talking" to an alligator that was quite aggressive. She told the handler that the gator needed to be told that he was "special" very often and needed some women gators around.

Well, my sis and I kept flipping back and forth between 3 channels so she was the "commercial killer".
Watching her talk to a pregnant giraffe was too funny! And then seeing her get down on all fours on the floor of a vet clinic to demostrate to the doc and owner exactly where the pain was originating on the dog (patient) was too much! Roxy (my sis) kept saying "she wants the vet to look at her butt, she how she's shaking it?". LOL!!!

You're right. The end does not justify the means.
Glen despises her. If he even hears her voice, he gets angry. I see her as a clown, but I shouldn't give her my attention because it only keeps her on the air.

It is probably getting too many hits this morning. If you have a link I'll try it later. I'd love to see it.

I am not a mom... Didn't mean to imply that it was a mom-only question (I'm batting a thousand today with you aren't I?!). Just thought it was a more common kid thing.
Drs. office is closed for lunch. I'll call back when they open.

Nope, I don't have a link. I meant yahoo.com search, google.com, and any other search site is not loading. I think it's that virus again. My MSN sites aren't loading either.

Reminder.... the BAFTAs are the British equivalent to the Oscars. Last year FoTR won:

The World appreciates a stunning elf, eh? Of course the media will never report the fact that Elrond threw out the dwarf military vote...

Did you notice that you can hear the beating of the Nazgul's wings when Frodo is in Osgiliath...right before he says "There're here...they've come"? Faramir says for them to take the hobbits to his father, he's sending a mighty gift. Sam is telling why Boromir died...then someone shouts "Watch out!" and that tower gets hit with something...right then, the beating of the wings begins but I think only Frodo can hear them at first...he looks overcome.Yeah, I've noticed that. I think you are right. Frodo does have a "connection" with the Riders. I think it must work one-way, or else the Riders would be able to zero in on Frodo, which they've shown they can't do (re: the Dead Marshes, Bree, etc.).

"only Frodo can hear them at first...he looks overcome"
When Frodo rolls his eyes back up in his head, those are some of my favorite parts of these movies. I like the way he looks. It is exactly the way I feel when I am at the airport and have to get on an airplane.
To: Sam Cree
LOL!
But I don't like it when my Frodo looks demon-possessed like that. It is not a good look for him. ;~D
