Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Ok, Sam...I sent you a list of good items to send and a picture of the customs slip she'll need to have filled out. I put in red what she will have to fill out, the rest the post office does. Tell her just like any 4-part form, press hard when she's writing! Don't date it till she's ready to send it...they won't take a customs slip with yesterday's date on it...a mistake I made once and won't ever again!! LOL
Just tell her to pick up a handful of the slips...ask for the white customs slips. (There are green ones that are used for less than 3lbs) You can get them at any post office or MailBoxes Ect. or whatever...they are free and they must give them to you if they have them.

Read that letter from that soldier, it was good...I believe very much the "riot on cue for the cameras" Yeah, my s-i-l said something about that in one of his emails too. Not too surprising after seeing how people here act at protests and stuff when the camera turns to them.

.... And also, I am encouraged that it is as I suspected, that most of the country of Iraq does not, amazingly enough, resent our presence there. I can't imagine that, but I believe it to be true or things would be much much worse for our guys. I would be interested to know, program wise, how our efforts to rebuilt and organize are going... I am sure there is a heck of a lot of good being done. Perhaps not stuff that FR would like, nation building stuff... but dagnabit, at this point, if we didn't do that.... if we don't rebuild and organize and set up services, we would be remiss.... We can't just wipe out and not rebuild, unless we don't want to control what comes up in Saddam's place.... At this point, we need to control and guide the outcome. IMHO.

I still wish the cast of The Big Chill would do a sequel...20 years later at the wedding of one of the kids... Wouldn't that be a hoot! I love that movie, even though, I don't agree with the choices made by several of the characters. I does capture a 'moment in time' familiar to all of us 'of a certain age'.
BTW the answer to your question is "The World Acording to Garp". I don't know if anyone else has answered cause I'm just now making my way through the posts from this morning.
