Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Did you pass all your students? Not yet. Prolly won't. Had to stop and interview a potential replacement for instructor that quit. This guy is going to at least teach the Digital Video class in the fall at least. He seemed like a good guy. He knew a lot. I hope he works out.
Otherwise, we may have to make ecurbh come teach here.
Now, back to grading. I'm still at the same point.

Well, if I got desperate enough to hire someone we could turn my house into a duplex.
It's actually pretty weird this week. I bought the house with Grama in mind. She was going to move in with us when she couldn't live at home anymore. So, it has 2 large living areas and 3 bedrooms. bad thing is only 1 bathroom. But, I figured when she moved in we could kind of split and her have one living area and me another if it was needed. The bathroom is kind of between her bedroom/living area and the rest of the house so we figured it'd be okay for us to share.
So now, I have this house, almost 1800 sq ft. and just me. And I was noticing last night, except when I get up to go to the bathroom I think I'm using about 400 square feet to live in. In the den where the computer, TV and couch that I sleep on are. Yep, I'm not even using my bedroom! pretty stupid huh?
