Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Perhaps this kind of discussion is what we should also move to your place in the entmoot forum.OK. I did make the Entmoot forum more private - only registered members can see or post on that board. And for information that should be even more confidential, there is also the email list.

but I need a post that says "Corin, send ksen a check for this amount by this date." I just put a date on my calendar that says 'send ksen a check' for however many dollars Hair's table said to send! I did that as soon as she posted the table last time. Otherwise, I wouldn't have remembered it! It's a 50 yrs. old thing.

Hume Cronyn passed away.Man, I hate to hear that! I just loved him and Jessica Tandy. The kids saw them in the movie Batteries Not Included a couple of years ago. We'll have to get Cocoon for them to see. They were a great couple!

OK - Everyone who has not already done so... this is NEWS!
We have Ecurbh's new forum to talk entmoot details on, so all who want to be in on that should get enrolled in his forum right away if you aren't already.... I have posted a couple new threads there in the Entmoot category, one is a cost breakdown and one is a headcount poll. You have to register to see it! And then register your vote.

I finally woke up and made my committment.
I hope I caught up on sleep now.
Weird day.... the phone company cut a phone line and all the quadrant of town where the school where I work is had no phones or internet.
Then, I woke up from my nap and turned on the local news and they found a dead body over by the school while I was napping.
I don't think I want to go to work tomorrow.
