The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

It's only a buck and just 50c on Tuesdays and during the matinee times at our cinema!
It's why I don't mind going out and buying the cookies, even though I have some good cookies right here at home.

I must be an absolute idiot, but I can't figure out how to use that Amtrak website! I put in that I wanted to go from Tulsa to Kissimmee FL and it had me going from Fort Worth to Washington DC!

If we do it in elvish letters will you know it says "666?" If'n I got elvish letters on my forehead, the number is the least o' my worries...

The Dwarf must be slowing down. Jes' keep it away from the elves. That's all that really matters...
To: Corin Stormhands
I would go see the movie...but I just know it'll be chock full of kids, being Memorial Day and all...
I think I'll just stay home and eat some nice cookies.

I'm watching Holy Grail. Cookies might keep me awake too late.

If I start right now, I can have it over at a reasonable hour...it's only 6:30pm here and the boys are still out swimming.
I didn't get to fish today.

we're planning on showing up for the whole week, not just the weekend...I was thinking of doing the same thing!! Or at least 5 days of that week.

Listening to Gollum's Song. Mmm-mmm...I really like this CD.
The Rohirrim theme has always been my favorite...since it stopped me dead in my tracks the first time I heard it.
But I am going to log off.
The boys will be home soon...and I still haven't finished cleaning the hall carpet.

Did you hear about that dream I had? About Entmoot? It was such a great dream and we were all having such a good time!
I can't wait.
See you later!

You have to check to see if there is an Amtrak station in Tulsa. Go to the site and look for your city. It is listed in alphabetical order by city. Of course you have to GUESS which city has a station. If Tulsa doesn't, check which city in OK that is closest to you might have one.
I wanted to go from the Rt. 128 station here, but had to guess which city it was in. Turned out, it was listed as a Boston stattion. The train goes into Orlando, but continues on down to Kissimee. I was going to ask ksen or Ruthy if either of them could pick us up, and which station would be the most convenient to them.
To: 2Jedismom
Okay. Talk to ya later.
I still don't like Gollum's Song.
To: SuziQ; 2Jedismom
They have stations in some surprisingly small places. For example, there is a station in Greensburg right across from my school. It's not manned, you have to buy your tickets in advance, but it's there.
So don't assume it'll only be in Tulsa, 2J.

You are so sweet to keep saying that.

I'm thinking of going to see the movie tonight. It's showing at the cheap cinema... My mouth fell open for that one. Literally. I could be jealous. I think it's about time to see it on the big screen again.
To: SuziQ
she didn't want to quit with the talking so we've sat on the couch and talked and laughed for all this time. Doesn't that make you feel good?
Yes! Extremely.
She must be wanting to bond before leaving for Germany. I started with the breakfast idea from here but then the long long chat, and the long walk at the park were her ideas.
To: SuziQ
I have a friend who did one of my tats that is a Christian Tattoo artist. She owns an establishment called Big Fish Tattoos. This is one of her pieces that I like a lot.
