Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hey! Now both my kids are sick! Matthew is better but the younger got it yesterday and is still throwing up.
Maybe the day the chicks hatch we can watch the movie as we wait on chicks. :)
This sounds like a great idea, but if the kids come with me, they can be very disruptive because they've seen The Movies so many times that I hate to say it, they are a little tired of it. But I definitly want the kids to see those chicks hatching!

I'm going to log off...I can't sit back here in this computer room and make sure Joshua keeps his "bucket" near him at the same time. Plus he just wants me to sit on the couch with him, so that's what I'm going to do. Matthew is also finishing up his Language Arts 3rd grade...so I've got lots to do with him.

Good morning everyone! I'm still waiting for some checks that have been sent and OT's Slim Jims to arrive, then I'll send off the next batch of care packages. Got them all set up in the livingroom, got the labels in the books and they are ready to go.

OH, 2J, I've been off trying to get ready to go back to Ardmore. I'm so sorry to hear that Joshua is sick. Seems that you've had more than your share of that this week. Hate it when that happens. Know you're logged off now but prayers have gone your way. :-)

Yes! Although, I have always had long commutes. It was worth it to me to live where I could have the dogs. That is what I thought for the 17 years that I lived out in the country. Where did I go wrong? I have strayed from the path my friends. I need to get back to where I'm supposed to be. AND IT'S NOT IN A CITY!!! even if it's a freakin' little city.

Have you given her drugs before? Is she an addict cat? Has she flown before? I've given her pills before (antibiotics and Heartguard). She's not an addict cat and she has flown before but not in the passenger section. I wasn't in charge of her previous flight experiences.....guess I'll have to ask my cousins about that but she definitly doesn't like to travel. :)

Hullo everyone!
I'm working today but really dragging since Alyson is getting a few more teeth and is not sleeping through the night. I haven't felt this tired since she was a newborn!
Speaking of newborns....where is g'nad!? We want pictures! I hope he gets his ISP soon! I miss my stinky ol' Dwarf!
Let me get breakfast on, but first I am serving the coffee! Black and strong this morning, but there's plenty of creamer and sugar on the table if you like to lighten it up a bit. Fried eggs, grits and hash browns are on the stove and 7 platters of bacon and fried ham are on the table. Buttermilk bisuits are in the covered basket. I fresh squeezed some orange juice last night and it's in the fridge if you want some.
Hair - WOW! $500 is about what you'd pay for an efficiency in my neck of the woods! I'd gladly move in with ya and pay half but I am kind of strapped down with kids at the moment! LOL!
