Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Work went well. Tomorrow, we learn Java because we're rewriting our product in it Friday.
Just kidding... I think I have all weekend to learn Java ;) But it's something new and exciting to learn. It was a lovely day here. What about everyone else?

Was a good day here! - I still have hay to unload in the truck.... gonna do that in a bit.
I don't have to learn anything new this weekend. This weekend is the annual cemetery cleanup day at the ole family restin' spot. If you recall me talking about it last year, it is an annual volunteer cleanup, bring your own weed-wacker, and afterwards, the ladies set out a pot-luck lunch. A priceless bit of Norwegian/Lutheran/Cromwell Beach Americana. It gets this one good cleanup in the spring, weekend before Memorial Day, and the rest of the year, it may or may not get mowed again.... We bury ours in rustic places, no groundskeepers need fuss over our graves!

Frodo status check for scheduling!
There are two full weeks left in May, and he is scheduled to go to New York with SuziQ in June.... SuziQ, what is the date for your June trip? - When would you need Frodo by?
Question is, is there time for him to visit with one of the yet-to-be-scheduled trips between now and June? I know you have plans to take him to some more locations LF, maybe this weekend? that would still leave a small window for a short trip.
We should probably wait on the Texas tour (How about Texas in October?) because there are lots of locations there, but maybe either *Overtaxed in her garden in NC* or *New Hampshire hiking with RosieCotton* or *Rhode Island beach with ItsOurTimeNow* could be sqeezed in now?
Still eager for a report on the wonderful pictures you took in DC, LF!
