The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

That's actually the source of a private joke between Rose and me...

Why thank you! And here I was, feeling badly for funkle-spamming....
Well, I still feel badly about it, but not so much now.

I fished with a new reel all day...I'm feeling benevolent.

I fished with a new reel all dayI read that earlier! Sounds like you had a good time!

Well, I really love to fish. My all time favorite hobby since I was a little kid.
And this is the first time since I was single that I've actually had a well organized tackle box...and Steve did it all for me for Mother's day! Then took me to Walmart to get my license!
Speaking of Walmart, he got his hair cut there the other day and the girl that cut it did such a terrible hack job on it that when we got home I had to buzz it short almost all over (I left it a little long on the top where there isn't much...but still it was very short...had to be.)

Hey! This is too cool! I got my notebook PC from work all set up now so that when I go on my road trips back to see the family in Bush country I can still FReep! It's a bit on the slower side, but it'll travel! That's what counts for me!
To: Wneighbor
All right!!
How are you?
I'm eating Milk Duds.

Well, I'm happy as a clam now that I got this set up. I've messed with it forever. The notebooks were donated to the school by a local company. They were set up for aircraft maintenance software and all that had to be removed. I've about thrown this thing out the door several times but it's doing my thing now. All that's left is to locate my ISP local access numbers in the home areas and ya'll will have to deal with me when I'm in high elf country too!
Having trouble getting used to this keyboard too. Mine is ergonomic for my hands. This one is a bit uncomfortable. But, will be worth it for trips.

What a cool Mother's day present! I'm about the only one in my family who doesn't fish. I did, when I was little, but I was too tender-hearted... couldn't stand to see the poor fish flopping on the bank. So I stopped.
I need to get my hair cut... but I really dislike getting it cut, so I've been avoiding it.
