Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I am unable to commit to anything more complex than walking my dogs tomorrow. I have no idea where I'm going to be in four months time, let alone next January (except I'm really likely to be somewhere other than where I am now). Money up front at the moment is a bit of an issue too...
My wife has an interview for a really good job next week (only 3/4 time, but a good job nevertheless). Maybe the Bertie Wooster life as a ne'erdowell house-husband will suit me?

They are doing good! They are a lot nicer than Chiff and Fipple, but some seem amazingly illiterate!
I just went down the street and looked at the chickens...they look so nice, wandering around in that yard. The neighbor said "Yeah, they are nice, but she's gonna get caught!" I told her I was pretty sure you could have up to 6 chickens, which was news to her.
