Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

(even if it was just to watch a rented "Panic Room" How did you like that movie? That's one I can add to our Netflix list. We just watched "We Were Soldiers"; it was very well done. I had read the book last year and was curious how the movie would be. Mel Gibson treated the book and the soldiers very respectfully, and Sam Elliot looked very strange without his handlebar moustache! I'd never seen him clean shaven in any part. He played Sgt. Major Basil Plumley, of Col. Hal Moore's (Mel) 7th Air Cav.

Well, yeah. At first they were showing Two Towers footage... a lot of this now is stuff we have seen before... Is this the same show we saw before with the weird walking guy at the end?

I missed the intro, and I think what they did to me was show the Two Towers trailer, and then say "here is our replay of the show we did last year".
