I was thinking the other day about Mary and Joseph... that Mary was such a good young woman, so special, that she was chosen to be the mother of Jesus - yet Joseph's first reaction when he heard she was to bear a child was to quietly break their engagement. That made her good enough for God - but not good enough for Joseph. We humans see so much of the outside, so much of the circumstances, so much of the rules, that we can't see the hearts of each other or the will of God. It took the visit of an angel to change Joseph's mind - but most of us never get such an advantage. We have to decide whom to marry without the benefit of the word from an angel saying, "This is God's choice for you." We're stuck with our own short-sighted choices. Scary. Free will is a dangerous thing. *L*

That is unusual.
Most men, if told by their 'virginal' fiancee that she was preggers and God did it, would have broken more than the engagement, and not quietly.

There was a lot of speculation that this would happen. Give the crew Christmas leave, maybe some quick maintainance. Take on new crewmembers and release those whose enlistments were up and then right back..

"NASHVILLE, Tenn. –– A small plane crashed during takeoff Friday, slightly injuring the 18-year-old son of newly elected Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist.

Harrison Frist, a freshman at Princeton University, was a passenger on a privately owned plane that was taking off from John C. Tune Airport, said Frist spokesman Nick Smith. He was being treated at Centennial Medical Center, a hospital in the HCA Inc. chain founded by the senator's father and brother.

"Harrison is fine," Smith said. He had no other details.

He seems to be the ultimate Democrat: Claims to know little green aliens (Hillary?), believes that cloning is the answer (to a pc lover's dream), has his loopy thought recognized as a religion in Canada (they admired Bill Clinton too), and is a former "journalist" who is French.
