In the East, at least, it's a good morning to stay inside and enjoy your favorite morning program. The weather is closing down everything and I'm going to tune in Imus in a few minutes while I bake some banana bread. Yummy!

The Daily Imus (from the website)
Theres one thing you can count on... this wont be another touchy, feely political infomercial!!! Tune in on Thursday (7:27am eastern) as IMUS welcomes Sen. John Kerry, who in a love fest chat with Tim Russert on Meet The Press this past weekend, announced he was running for the White House. IMUS will grill the Senator from Massachusetts on his positions on Homeland Security, the death penalty, abortion, Iraq, the economy... and whether he has the courage to take his partys lead and stand up to the popularity of President Bush.
Later on, hear the political buzz Kerrys announcement has created, HARDBALL style from MSNBCs Chris Matthews (8:27am eastern). Matthews will also talk about his new best selling book (which the I-MAN gives an enthusiastic thumbs up) and his HARDBALL college tour series which welcomes former GE chief Jack Welch (wed night, 8pm, MSNBC).
All this, plus the latest news headlines from around the world, when IMUS on MSNBC kicks off at 6am eastern.

I lifted your 'FnF' moniker. Hope you didn't have a copyright on it.

OK. There is about four inches of dry snow on the ground and it's still coming down. I'm off to the banana bread now.

This should be very interesting Imus morning, at least with Mathews (who will suck up to Imus), and Kerry, who will gracefully sidestep any comment on the military records of others. No doubt Imus will continue to compare Kerry's military record with President Bush's...which by the way, is why Kerry will be the democrat nominee. However nebulous the reasoning, he's the only democrat the DNC can put up against Commander In Chief Bush in 2004.

I hope it stops snowing up there by the weekend. I'm driving up to SW Virginia from Houston this Saturday. I think Imus will go easy on Kerry this morning. Imus just said he's voting for GWB in 2004.

Kerry blaming tax cut for loss of surplus. This guy is an economic illiterate.
To: freedom1st
Kerry is a mile wide and an inch deep. I say bring him on. He's a smart guy. Maybe too smart by half and he doesn't believe in most of the things he says. Besides, Hillary is going to burn him if he get too close to challenging Bush in '04. It wouldn't fit into her plans.
To: leadpenny
Kerry is a smart guy. He is also very arrogant. In the end, his arrogance will get him. Not to mention his socialist agenda.
OK, it's over to C-SPAN to see it snowing behind Norm Coleman on C-SPAN.
To: leadpenny
Sen. Norm Coleman, Sid's first cousin.
To: freedom1st
If he thinks he can take W head on in 04 he is crazier than I thought. Here is what I think he is doing. He is trying to carve out a position to fence off Hillary, even if it means fighting her for the 08 nomination.
To: freedom1st
Sid probably doesn't even know that Coleman is on C-SPAN. Poor Sid probably doesn't even know there is a C-SPAN. Where is Sid going this weekend? Some beauty contest in the Bahamas. Wait a minute. Did I say poor Sid?
To: leadpenny
C-SPAN sure lets the DemoRats overload the phone lines.

Well I listened to Sen. Ketchup on IMUS and didn't hear much new.
When asked about his comments saying that IRAQ is just a cover-up for a bad economy. First he denied saying it, then went through the same speech gain.
IMUS ranting about the people sending him instant messages. Just don't do it. It annoys me (So I say keep it up).
I think I heard FnF say the Dick Morris is coming up.

Morris saying the RATs shouldn't go against Bush on IRAQ. It's a losing position. Calling Kerry a small DuCacus (spelling?).
