You guys can get off my back now. I just now caught and killed a mouse.

Wonder of wonders, one of those little wooden mouse traps caught him and then I tossed him, trap and all, into a pail of water and capsized his little "raft" until he quit moving.

Meanwhile, my wife was in the other room praying for him to die quickly.

By the way, these two mice I caught today are very tiny brown mice. Probably field mice, I guess.

LOL! Winter time's a comin'. Mice move into the house when it gets cold. You might see if the sticky traps are available in your area. They work really well. As do the electric zapper traps.

All of this information is from dealing with mice in the garage. We don't have problems with mice in the house. We have 5 1/2 indoor cats. ;>)

John's right about the weather probably driving them in. We used to live in a neighborhood that was close to being in the boonies ..... was on the edge of a town with a population of 240. There were fields nearby and woods beside our house. It wasn't an everyday occurence but we did get mice in the house from time to time ..... and they were so tiny I almost felt sorry for them.

We finally learned (after getting a flying squirrel in the attic) that moth balls in the attic help keep such critters out ..... if you can stand the smell. Our kids hated it ...... it nearly drove them out of the house, too ...... :-)
