Doggie ~~~ Have you by chance followed this thread any? I haven't read it all but have looked in on it from time to time. The thread started on Friday and is still ongoing. The best I can figure out, it was the efforts of FReepers and some others that finally got this story into the news media ..... in fact, it was the persistence of a few people who finally got the cops to seriously checking out the story ...... and now it is all over FOX News ..... and I think other networks, too.

Another outstanding job by FReepers ...... though the missing lady hasn't been found yet.

Missing Adult, HELP NEEDED (crime in progress?) [SC]

With your investigative skills, I should have pinged you to the thread days ago but I just never got around to it ...... :-(

You guys don't understand. I gotta live with these females and can't afford to have them all hating me.

A couple weeks ago I was telling a co-worker about the house we're buying and told him that there's an open invitation to hunt the land behind the property and he would be welcome to come and hunt with me. Being a university liberal he said, "I don't think I could kill anything." I replied right away, "That's OK, Jim. We'll can just maim them instead."

HS just passed overwhelmingly...

Now Shedd's nomination up for vote, and when Thurmond made the few remarks, the Senate, and the chamber looked pretty full, rose en masse, clapping.

For once, the Dems were gracious!

Not baking homework, an assignment from the First Shirt to make the Commander a "very nice" cake to celebrate the commander's promotion. And I don't know how to do thing half-way when it comes to something like this.

The cakes are in the oven. The batter was too much for my small 6 quart commercial mixer, so I had to improvise. I hope it works out.
