Ugh, not very good timing for the holidays to have to do the work of three people. I hope you are noticed and rewarded for what you are doing. :)

Okie dokie. I've heard this buffet is different from the other buffets in Vegas, so I'll have my food critics hat on while I eat.

Hubby told me right before leaving a while ago that a package had come for me. Well, I just went downstairs to check on it .... and it's my Fisher-Price Little People Nativity ...... and it is just
too cute!!!
Daughter-child and the grandkids are coming this weekend ..... I'll let them start playing with it now instead of waiting until after Thanksgiving.
Something else came today, also ...... and it is just BEAUTIFUL!!! ..... my 2002 White House ornament .......

It is soooooo much prettier in person. You can find this one and some of the ones from prior years HERE. That site is also accessible through the White House site though you have to look for it a bit ..... go to History and Tours and then under Resources go to Historical Association.
They also have other things ..... stationery, some jewelry, prints, books, etc.

Don't you just hate it when a republican is elected and he turns out to be a 3/4 republican? I am hearing Spector now and he sounds like a republicrat.

Does anyone here know anything about a movie called "Bowling for Columbine?" I just had an e-mail about it from you-know-who saying it was the number 2 movie in the country last week...and I've never heard of it. Anyway, the director/producer is Michael Moore and I'm wondering if he's the guy who wrote "Stupid White Men."

The democracts keep shooting themselves in the foot, both and right and some are using automatics. The bill is going to pass so why not get on with it but oh no, they want to bring up bills that did not pass, blame little tommy d. for that, he is the one who did not bring up the bills to be voted on.

No information from me, I am not a movie goer and don't watch movies on the tube.
To: Mr. Mulliner
I know nothing about the movie other than Michael Moore and from that I would imagine it is a horrible movie.

I think Specter is an excellent Senator ..... for Scotland. And the sooner he takes his seat in their Senate, the better ours will be ........ ;-)

I don't know about "Stupid White Men" but "B for C" is an anti-gun, anti 2nd amendment, anti NRA propaganda movie, and Michael Moore is crazy! But that's just my opinion...
g6, Specter will be up for re-election in '04, or '06, and he should be challenged in the R. primary!

Hi all. I'm on a quick smoke break. I've got 2 cakes to do tonight, and a pan of stuffing for Trill's work Thanksgiving event tomorrow.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with these practice cakes. The ones I make tonight will go to school with the bratling tomorrow, but folks are going to start getting tired of it. ;>)

I'm starting with a rather rich carrot cake. That is still subject to change. So there may be several types I have to get rid of.

I read enough of the e-mail to know that it was pure vile. Michael Moore wrote the text of the e-mail and thanked people for attending the anti-Bush, anti-war demonstrations.
I think I just disproved what seems to be Michael Moore's core belief that conservatives are violent by nature. When I got home from work the four females in my life were huddled excitedly in the kitchen saying they had just seen a mouse. The mouse made several more appearances and I set a couple of traps. But you know what tripped him up? The kitchen sink. He got into the sink and couldn't get out. I caught him in a plastic cup and, due to cries for "mercy!", I let him go in the field behind our house instead of killing him. If he comes back, he's got a death sentence on him, but I will give a mouse (or a man) a second chance to make good in life.

Nuts! I just heard another mouse in the wall next to me. It can't be the one I just let loose. I doubt he'd have time to get back here yet unless he ran straight and didn't stop. Hmmmm...hope the traps do something.
To: Mr. Mulliner
You freed a mouse you caught??

I doubt he'd have time to get back here yet unless he ran straight and didn't stop. I have no sympathy for any creature that can cause the illness or death of someone I love. Too bad you didn't just slip him down the garbage disposal. ;>)
