Hi everyone. Please don't forget me. Just because I don't have a life right now doesn't mean I still don't read all the threads, LOL.
It feels so good to open up my FR self seach and see that freepers have pinged me to threads. Although I don't have much time to play right now, (And I don't feel much like playing right now) It sure lifts my spirits when I hear from all of you. Just a quick "Hi Teacup how are you" really helps right now. Love ya all, gotta run. Be back later.

Those are beautiful roses. Just what the Guild need this bright and rather cool day out here in Virginie.
I must say, I need to go get some things done in town, but I'm rather nervous about going into the shopping centers out here. We have a "snipper" shooting up our part of the country. Mr. Teacup and I think these are terrorist attacks and are the job of a team of snippers who want to do nothing else but disturb our peace. The press seem to think it's just one guy. But think about it. No rhytme or reason behind the shootings and now they are going after our children. Sound familar? Like in Isreal? Gee! All done with a high powered riffles. The shooters appear to be highly trained in shooting, and have been seen in pairs? Gee, like they may have been trained in the military or a middle eastern training camps perhaps? That's just my opinion, it's pretty simple really. No car has been found? And they seem to know what they are doing. If it were a local nut case, they would have been found already or he would have bolted. What do you all think?

If the cops really did find a cartridge casing, it would indicate to me a poorly trained assasin or an automatic rifle, or perhaps both. The randomness of the targets is troubling to me - it seems designed to rachet up everyone's fear level.
But if this is the work of the MooseLimbs, why in just one area of the country? Why not nation-wide?
Big prayers up for the speedy apprehension of these godless bastards.

Some pointyhead academics think the Maryland sniper kills for the thrill of it (
thread here), but I'm doubtful. I understand a search warrant was executed overnight, but there's no indication of whether any evidence was relevant:
WASHINGTON, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Police hunting a sniper who has killed six people and wounded two others in the Washington region said on Tuesday they had found some evidence and searched a home but gave no indication they were close to finding the random shooter who has panicked the capital area.
As Washington's rush hour got under way, Prince George's County Police Chief Gerald Wilson said local schools would be under police protection and helicopters would patrol the skies. "We did recover some evidence that I'm not at liberty to get into," Wilson told a news conference. full story.

why in just one area of the country? Why not nation-wide? Because it's all in the DC area close to the president Etc. The randonness of the victims are not that random, IMHO. They seemed to have shot people of different ethnic backgrounds and, then focused on male and female. Almost as if on purpose. And now children. This was a young boy, wanna take bets (if there is another victim, and I pray there isn't) if it won't be a young girl? Remeber, these nuts balls are into symbolism. Just my thoughts.

Though police have had little to go in the search for a sniper described by police as a skilled marksman who needed only one shot to murder his victims, Mountaineer, this morning the police captain said, they found nothing in the home they seached last night. This shell casing, as far as I have heard, is the first peice of evidence they have. All the other casings were to dmaged to get a reading as to what they were and such. Very professional if you ask me.

That was one excellent speech last night.I read the transcript over on Frontpage Magazine and it was masterful in laying out a point by point, deliberative argument that left no room for his critics.Yeah, he's so dumb, he can't think logically...uh huh, or maybe his opponents can't bear to reason on their own ;-)

Former New York city mayor Rudy Giuliani will be in Boston Tuesday to campaign for Republican gubernatorial candidate Mitt Romney. I saw an interesting commercial for Mitt the other day. It was a man from Utah talking about how Mitt had come in a cleaned up the Salt Lake City Olympic Committee because it was so corrupt before the Games. He described himself as a 'LIBERAL DEMOCRAT' who supports Mitt.
I haven't seen any polls, and frankly haven't paid much attention. I'm not thrilled with his choice of a running mate; a liberal-feminist Republican woman, but I'll vote for him because I don't want the even more STRIDENT liberal-feminist Democrat woman for Gov.!

There was a profiler on Mike Gallagher's radio show who noted that the shooter(s) took the weekend off, heard the officials tell parents to send their kids to school - that it would be safe - and then the little boy was shot.
Profiler said that the shooter was following himself on all the media even closer than we are, and that the guy(s), no matter how sick, is not stupid, and might not be easily caught unless he snaps mentally and starts making silly mistakes.
Sobering thoughts. You guys stay safe out there.

I just received the sickest email from my precinct chair with a copy of a dim plan to bus, house, and register to vote kids in MN for Wellstone.
The 'rat bastards have even set it up as a non-for-profit, tax deductible organization flying in the face of all election regulations. Winning is all that matters to the unholy left.

Interestingly enuf, the Catholic Church and the Volunteer Firemen sent our questionaires to political candidates statewide. The Catholic Church has been so intimadated about the possibility of loosing their 501(c)3 status, they have decided against publishing the results of their survey in the Diocene Newspaper. The fire fighters will send the results to their members, but will not publish the results for the same fear.
Something is rotten in Voterville.

Thanx for the help on finding the quote. Back late tonite.

LOL, right! Kind of like my non-life. Stay safe down there, all this sniper business is unnerving.
Would it be evil to just wish that these perps would just drop over dead?
Daughter #3 has a cough and a cold, and I feel like I have something coming on. Lots of tea with honey and lemon, and vitamins A&C for me.
Glad to see you stopped in.

Mr. Teacup and I think these are terrorist attacks and are the job of a team of snippers You're likely to be proved correct, thus the news blackout on suspects.
Glad to see you back, Teacup. Stay safe! Mebbe you should have groceries delivered for awhile?
To: PoisedWoman; pubmom; lodwick; *GUILD
Well I made it back safe and somewhat sound. I have to say, the roads and stores are pretty empty. I was able to park pretty close to the store, got my stuff and got into my car fast. Yep, seems everyone out here is scared right now.
Pubmom, I know about that cough and cold. We've had it visit us last week. Mr. T still has it.

Sadly, my first thought on hearing this news story this afternoon was the He-Man Girl-Haters Club.
ERIE, Pa. -- A jury deliberated for less than two hours Monday before convicting an Erie County man of setting a fire that killed his 2-year-old daughter in order to get out of paying child support. full story.

If the death penalty isn't imposed, I'm sure some of his fellow inmates will offer their assistance in that capacity.
Some days I can hardly believe how truly evil humans can be.
