WASHINGTON, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Police hunting a sniper who has killed six people and wounded two others in the Washington region said on Tuesday they had found some evidence and searched a home but gave no indication they were close to finding the random shooter who has panicked the capital area.
As Washington's rush hour got under way, Prince George's County Police Chief Gerald Wilson said local schools would be under police protection and helicopters would patrol the skies. "We did recover some evidence that I'm not at liberty to get into," Wilson told a news conference. full story.
Mountaineer, this morning the police captain said, they found nothing in the home they seached last night. This shell casing, as far as I have heard, is the first peice of evidence they have. All the other casings were to dmaged to get a reading as to what they were and such. Very professional if you ask me.
