In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Well, I can't do much about it down there in Austin (is it true like Miss Why says that you Texans use corn dogs and kiwi fruit for sex?), so here's a delicate little smooch to tide you over...

Pshaw, woman, fat chance! What a mind you've got! And if it did happen, more time (and therefore more small fees) would be taken until the situation was remedied...

You're probably right Miss Cote, but I hate to see them get publicity in such a hugely inverse proportion to the intelligence contained in their remarks, especially with all the ignorami out there thinking they're wonderful.

Pssst, it's called "having fun". He'll REALLY be in his dotage when he doesn't want to play sports anymore, like me.

LOL!

A couple of guys are out in the woods hunting when one of them suddenly grabs his chest and falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing; his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls 911. He gasps to the operator, "I think Bubba is dead! What should I do?" The operator, in a calm soothing voice says, "Just take it easy and follow my instructions. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, and then a shot is heard.
The guy's voice comes back on the line, "Okay, now what?"

Huh. ESPN half-time broadcast has Bradshaw (FOX), Sims (CBS), and Madden ( ABC, although I understand ESPN has a deal with ABC) on.

ABC owns ESPN... I hope that helps.

You find that amusing? lol
To: dubyaismypresident
Yup, better still, thanks, dubs. Radio FR's pretty good tonight, they were humourously looking for Ohioans earlier. And they're just asking parents to get the kids out of the room!!
Shaker Heights?
When I find her heights, I'll shake 'em!
OK, too many Bloody Caesars and beer...
Go 49ers!!

Sorry, W.
A cousin of my grandmother married a fabulously wealthy man in Shaker Heights. She adored me for some reason, but didn't leave me anything because my grandmother lied to her that she (grandma) was well off. So she (grandma's cousin) left that fabulous fortune to her husband's relatives. Oh, well.
