Look familiar? This will have to do until I get my film developed. This can be our unofficial logo.

It'd be nice for the pirates to get together again next year and maybe even on Treasure Island by St. Pete if Tampa gets the Republican National Convention in 2004! That would be kewl, huh?
You're VIP Pirates so drop by any time you need a break from the serious stuff. I will waive the pirate show requirement for you. FV

All pirates, say "ahrrr!"
Nice to make your acquantance at the FRN conference.
Even though I had seen the Treasure Island pirate attack show several times in the past, this was the first time I saw it from the Battle Bar terrace, behind the show. I wonder if all of the onlookers from the LV Strip side realize that they were being FReeped? :)
We should have snuck in a FreeRepublic.com sign with a skull and cross bones on it to hang from the railing. :)

A pirate and hero to Americans.

Although we could use a good mouser on board our fantasy pirate ship, Mimi's not a good candidate for the job. She'll remain on dry land so I can wait on her hand and foot instead.

Saturday evening, FV flies to Reno, NV, to stay at Harrah's where her brother played drums at the Sapphire there. We walked around Reno Sunday morning and I picked up some great souvenirs.
Upon my return flight to Vegas, I took the airport shuttle back to Treasure Island and found some stray freepers. They accompanied me to the Pirate Invasion which I hadn't seen yet.
I flew Fri, Sat, Sun, and Monday, a total of six planes. New stats show that we are returning to the skies. That's great!

Captain of the British Frigate (we were all sitting down at this point after FV got yelled at but not by the Captain.)

Defendin' the ship against the pirates dead ahead.

You've been flamed!

Lots of special effects and explosions. In addition, it was 110 degrees in Vegas and you could really feel the flames from the pirate show. In other words, IT WAS HOT.

Oops, startin' to sink.

It sank pretty fast, like Janet Reno's campaign has.

That's all for now pirate pals. I don't have a digital camera - that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. I may have a couple more shots of the frigate here somewhere. If I find em', I'll put them here. FV From the Crow's Nest
