No worries, I usually answer posts as I read them, so I didn't see your reply either. :)

Well, it has changed a bit in the last year. We used to have the 3 hour meetings, which is actually three meetings with ten minute breaks in between (Sacrament meeting, Sunday School, and Relief Society/Priesthood/Primary.) During the week the Young Men and Young Women meet for a meeting, they have activities, service projects, sports, etc during that time. It used to be not quite so formal, but this last year the LDS church has reverted back to having a weekly meeting during the week for the youth. The only other meeting I can think of that happens during the week is once a month the Relief Society women have an Enrichment meeting where we learn and do all sorts of things to enrich our lives, become better homemakers, people, etc.

The building is used all the time. Each ward has a youth night, the women have meeting some evenings,if you live out of heavy LDS concentration areas the youth have an hour long class every morning before school.

There are receptions, boy scout meetings, cub scout meetings, etc. About the only time the building is not in use is Monday night, which is set aside for family time called Family Home Evening, not for NFL unless you get done early!

Thanks for your input.

Glaring eyes are staring at me...I've been attempting to bundle & tie 10 million pieces of category-sorted papers together, off & on (mostly off), to store in the attic.

The threat is that they will be thrown in the trash....

bye for now

My guess is JG is a man. Most women would shy away from such a moniker! lol Also, the 'tone' of the posts is that of someone in a position of power and/or authority.

J-G:
It's actually 'Capitol Grilling', a weblog thing. Have a look. (Just put 'Capitol Grilling' in google.com.)They have a thread on E. Smart case; yesterday one of the punters quoted you about your visit with SLC policemen; the poster referred to FR as 'the you-know-what site'. But there is some interesting stuff there.
Well, in light of what you reported I now THINK:
1)burglary gone wrong;
2)Elizabeth recognized Ricci but MK did not. Maybe E. saw him full face, spoke to him: 'What are YOU doing here?' etc. But MK was feigning sleep and only caught glimpses through half-closed eyes; maybe her best view of him was from a distance where she could only see the hat and clothes. Hence the voice recognition stuff; the police have a good idea Ricci is involved but they're coming up empty with MK's desxription of what she saw.

And answer, if you can, when does the FBI enter a kidnapping case?

When they choose to.

Does anyone know if JG is a "he" or a "she"?

It's not a gentleman, so odds are it's female.

That sounds a lot more efficient than our church, which is empty most of the time.

It's a website with various threads on various subjects -- I can't figure out how the Smart case fits in, but it's there.

That would make sense, that JG is a retired LEO. The other LE don't make it a habit of chitty chatting with the general public.

Or an LEO wannabe. Or a LEO relative.

Vacation or not, IMHO, he's not a cop.

Totally agree. Definitely not a cop!
