That would be referring to the "admitted untruthfullness" you think? I agree, confusing, but evidently the lawyers know who they're talking about.

I wonder if the judge gives the instructions, then during closing the lawyers point out the "who" and the "what" as it refers to untruthfulness.

The OJ trial has caused many arguments in my extended family. Years ago I tried to get out of an abusive relationship and was stalked and then kidnapped. He brought me back and stood trial. The jury found him guilty of intimidation?? A yr and a half later, he ran my car of the road and stabbed me and I almost died. At that time I actually felt pity for the first jury. They went with what was presented to them, not what I knew to be true. When the OJ trial came up everyone screamed 'He's Guilty, Guilty, Guilty!!!!'. It was hard for my family to understand that my teenage daughters and I still wanted proof. I'm not sure I understand either, except I still believe in 'innocent until proven guilty'. Someone else could have ran my car off the road that morning, but people were still going to look at the person who stalked me. Someone else could have killed Nichole, but they were sure of OJ. There has to be proof.

I think the lawyers will try to point out the untruths but I'm not sure what will be allowed in. I'm not sure the lawyers have quite the free reign in closing that many people think they do.

That was my first thought when I heard of the MH having to be moved. I know as a kid my parents had a MH and every kid that saw it wanted to see inside.
Can you think of a better place to hide during hide 'n' seek? Especially if your younger brother is playing and wouldn't even think about you being in there? I mean they have that neat one way glass inside and you can look out at all your friends looking for you.
Now, if mom and dad found out about it cause brother ratted on you they would want MH out of there in the worst way but wouild not want to admit to not watching their kids.

It's not exactly concern for their kids that would motivate this decision. It's laziness and irresponsibility.
The VD's think about it this way, we've told them they are not supposed to go on/into other peoples property but they did it anyway. What to do so this dosen't happen again? Get rid of MH.
So instaed of watching the child more closely and being consistant with punishment when they break the rules they remove the temptation. Also it's concern for theirselves that motivates the VD's, no MH, no worries, and no extra time kidwatching.

You're very informed about this case. Do you think we will ever know who did it? I'm not convinced Westerfield is the guilty one. It's not up to the defense to find the murderer but no one is looking elsewhere, right? LE has their man. If Westerfield is found not guilty and no one else is charged, his life is mostly ruined. Better than being executed of course but a shame for someone that probably was just minding his own business. Hope you're still on here tonight. Thanks....

I been studying the bugmen's calculations, comparing one with another. As we progressed from one to another each took into consideration MORE possible temperature sets, MORE experimental tests results from MORE researches and became MORE conservative in using the magot mass corrections. Each time the range of possible egg deposition became a little wider.

Making the corrections for Goff's minor math errors, makes little difference in his conclusions. Each man tried to do a better job of widening the interval to see if the prosecution's theory of the crime could work, and yet all concluded that it COULD NOT.

I think ALL were intellicually honest and each felt a serious need to do the job right. My hat's off to them for their hard work and clear thinking. Anyone of them that could have made Dusek's case would have a job testifing for the prosecution for the rest of their lives. They applied the science as best it could be done and all came to the same conclusion. DW couldn't have done it alone.
