In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Seductress sallied to sick sentiment and secretively sought schoolgirl sex, simulating sixteen's satyriasis. Said scandalous scheme scotched, sequelate sentence seeks salacious sister's salvage: self-segregating (semi-sequestering) sanctions sans sordid satiety in suborned seraglio.

Max, you are the best.
How I wish! If I could, I sure wouldn't be living in the People's Soviet of Washington near by Sodom on the Sound. (Talk about bureaucratic Hell! -- though the climate and scenery are nice.)
The liberals sure do like to ruin the nicest places.
But.. Robert... it's only Friday and that's a Satyrday word! Or does Satyrday fall on Fryday this week? Will satyrs fry in hell? If so, why don't they seem more saturnine...?
LOLOLOLOL
Actually, the thought has some merit.

So true. OTOH, to be fair, they like to ruin everything they come into contact with.
The goodwife had an interesting observation yesterday, identical to one I'd made a few weeks earlier. In both cases one or both of us were walking a parade with our state representative who is up for re-election. Our experience of these activities is that they are fun, waving to the crowd (and sometimes getting applause and waves in return), of smiles, laughter and good cheer. A good time, in all.
But we have both noticed that our counterparts on the democRat side almost always look grim and driven. They act like cogs in a machine, as if they have an unpleasant duty to perform and by [Gaia] they're going to do it if it kills them.
It must be their outlook on life that makes them like this...
LMAO! Good one, bud...
I never get tired of hearing that, chickie. ;)
