Scary that it's actually cooler in Texas then it is in Washington. We were a rain cooled 85 yesterday.

There's actually a good reason why. The warm air plows into the Appalachians, has nowhere to go, and compresses - warming it still further.

This touches home with me for my Mom had the same thing done over 20 years ago.
