We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Please take a moment to upset a liberal and a Ninth Circus Court Judge by honoring our flag:

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE
TO THE FLAG
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
AND TO THE REPUBLIC
FOR WHICH IT STANDS,
ONE NATION
UNDER GOD
WITH LIBERTY,
AND JUSTICE,
FOR ALL.

In the three-ring circus in Arlington, it was revealed that last week Moussaoui filed court papers that referred to The Evil One as "my brother in Islam and my Father in Jihad" and added "May Allah protect him."

He also stated that prosecutors would have to prove he was in Afghanistan to secure a conviction. Problem is - Moussaoui has already admitted as much.

NASDAQ closed yesterday lower than its post-9/11 low.

The FBI reports a female passenger allegedly tried to gain entrance to an airplane cockpit.

And scientists have linked smoking high amounts of marijuana to scschizophrenia.

Does this rule go in the same book as the one about DC drivers abandoning their cars on the Beltway at the first sight of a snowflake???

...it will never get cool in Washington again.

Chair, maybe if we work real hard and get rid of those hot-air, blovaiting demoRATs, then maybe things will become a little more temperate this fall!

Hey, let's just get rid of the RATs whether it cools off or not!!!

Can some of our legal readers/experts explain to me why this nut isn't turned over to a Military Tribunal? He has no rights as an American citizen and this circus is costing too much money and time.

Glad you're okay, ABG, if busy. That Prowler was good! Thanks!

When you have more time, how about continuing Dave Barry's tour thru the U.S.??? Great summer fun!

Jane, I was just having fun with my little petunia song.

The Purple Wave are used with terrific effect on some terraced slopes at the university, and I use them, too.

However, for the large pots at church, a mix of colors is best, so those are the ones which I have to pinch.

Do you think the Wave variety will ever become available in more colors??

A great plant for pots and hanging baskets in Tapien Blue Verbena: It just goes and goes, loves the heat and dryness.

Good morning Chairman and **ALL** you wonderful people.

Molly, I had every intention to watch the movie you suggested. I thought the errands I had to do would be completed in time. They weren't. Now I know how a dem feels. My opinion is good intentions don't amount to squat. :-)

Good Morning all!

Gee Elkiejg... I got an idea what we can do to Moussaoui. Why not bring him up here to the Midwest. We can have him stand, barefoot, in the middle of a black top parking lot, and let him bake under this intense heat and humidity. That would change him real quick into a puddle of goo.

Good morning all! I think we are about to repeat having another hot summer. Tarnation, I don't remember it being this hot this early.

That plane crash was so sad to hear about over Germany. But then again, I have been reading about how that happened quite a bit, as Allied planes would fight through low overcast to join up into huge formations, while commencing their bomb runs to Germany. We're so fortunate it doesn't happen more often.

America – The Right Way!!
The Daily Update – July 2, 2002

REMEMBER THE TRADE CENTER!!

AMERICA’S WAR ON TERROR – Day 295

The news as reported in The Washington Times:

[Note – All links go to The Washington Times’ website.]

1. The Government is erecting about 10 miles of snow fencing in a double-ring perimeter around the mall to secure the area in advance of July 4 festivities.

[Alas, a sign of the times. But we will prevail in the end! And it will be better than ever before!]

Security stepped up for Fourth

2. The Administration has threatened to kill as many as a dozen peace keeping missions over the next few months – basically when each comes up for renewal – if the UN doesn’t exempt US forces from the new International Criminal Court.

[Good. We should get out of all UN operations! BTW – don’t think this is a “hot button”? Even 97 voted to authorize the President to use military force to free any American being held by the ICC.]

U.S. threatens to kill a dozen peace missions

3. The Washington Times has been bringing us news and views for 20 years.

[America – Bored With This Story!! (Day 5,294)]

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS: The Washington Times

4. President Bush said the Supreme Court ruling allowing school vouchers was as historic as Brown v. Board of Education.

[Indeed it is.]

Bush celebrates win for school vouchers

5. A black House demonflop was defeated in a primary because he voted against pro-Israeli resolutions; the demonflop party is concerned there is a rift between blacks and Jews.

[No, there isn’t. There is a rift between Jews and those who don’t support Jews.]

Rift between blacks, Jews cited in election

6. A Russian Tupelov passenger plane and a Boeing commercial airliner collided over Germany; at least 95 are dead.

[It’s the Republican’s fault.]

95 killed as planes collide in midair

7. China has acquired and deployed an Israeli-built anti-radar drone with its forces opposite Taiwan.

[They are continuing to prepare for war.]

China deploys drones from Israel

8. After a bloody naval clash, South Korea and the United States agreed to step up surveillance of the North.

[It’s just a big misunderstanding. Can’t we all just get along?]

U.S. to boost North surveillance

9. Northrup Grumman agreed to purchase TRW. This would create the Nation’s second largest defense contractor.

[And the left said mergers were dead after the WorldCom meltdown.]

Northrop to buy TRW to create defense giant

We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.

Can some of our legal readers/experts explain to me why this nut isn't turned over to a Military Tribunal?

Thanks to the liberals holding up Senate consideration of the President's appointments, we have a shortage of Judges.

This means that Judges are stressed out and need relief.

Consider this as humor and comic relief for the Judge. She probably thinks so.

Then there is the added side benefit: Moussaoui believes that women should be subservient and have no positions of authority, but it will be a woman that will pronounce his sentence of death.

Good Morning Lysie, and Molly,

Another sleepless night, as the warmth continues to plague the upper Midwest.

the good news is that my house, after drying out, is starting to get back to normal.

Was doing some gardening for a friend of mine yesterday, and even though I was pacing myself in the heat, I felt like a wilted cornflower when I was through.

My hat goes off to all of you who live in areas of the Country where this type of heat is common.

Good Morning Mr. Chair,

As always, you continue to inspire. You sir, are one of my heroes!

So... They are putting up snow fencing in D.C.?

Does that mean its going to get cooler?

Maybe that's what I should do.

Busy, busy...

I am gonna get out and pick strawberries tomorrow.

We usually pick a couple of slats full, bring them back to the house and make freezer jam.

Nothing better than jam on toast, in the middle of January, to remind one of the golden days of summer.
