Much to do today ... so I better get to it.

Kassie, there is nothing sweeter than the breath of a child. In those so young years, they learn the art of saying and doing those things that will graduate them to using them to hook the man of their life. We grand parents just help them along, and love every minute of it.

Molly, thank you for opening the thread this morning.

Chairman, I'm glad to see you were able to rest a little this morning. Haven't told you lately, but I appreciate all that you have done here. Thanks.

Good Morning all!

Brazil beat Germany for the World Cup Final; 2-0

My son and I watched most of the second half. (He's a big Renaldo fan - who plays for Brazil.)Ranaldo scored both goals, and tied Pele for the most goals scored during World Cup finals. (12)

Hot and humid here in the Midwest.

Last night we had a chance to watch fireworks from our youngest daughter's bedroom window. We then went outside and watched some fireflies to their fire dance.

Hope all are well.

My sympathies illstillbe for having Kathleen Kennedy in your State. I heard she's not very bright. Yuck!

Morning Lysie!

I like the idea of a prayer garden as well, gulfcoast. Lysie... great choice of flower recomendations!(sp?)

(See what happens when I am out of school?)

I think gardening is therapy. That is until the weeds start coming through... Aaarrrggghhhh.... With all of the rain we have had recently, I think the weeds have brought along their friends, and distant cousins!

Hello everyone! It looks like I'm not the only one stopping by to say hi before leaving for Church. Molly, thanks for getting the thread up and running for us this morning. Chair, glad you had a chance to sleep in a little longer today. You certainly deserve a break.

gulfcoast6, I mean gulfcoast#1, so, first again, huh? Those typing fingers of yours are in great shape. You might as well just throw in the towel, Raven, gc6 is on a roll! I love your idea for a Prayer Park. You and the Lord are going to have some blessed one on one time together in serenity and beauty.

kassie, that's a shame you missed Nita and Bit. Isn't it funny how most days there's nothing much happening and then everything seems to be going on at all at the same time? I'm glad Pat made it home safely.

Now, bit, was that really necessary this fine morning?

lysie, what beautiful plant names! They sound heavenly.

illstillbe, what kind of a Republican changes parties like that, all of a sudden, when we're smack dab in the middle of a war? And a naval officer, to boot? Treasonous traitor! Great idea - bring on Schwarzkopf!

kayak, we miss you!

Miss Marple, Guennie, LBKQ, All - See you all later. Have a lovely day.

GREAT ideas for g6's prayer garden. How about Resurrection Lillies, too? Name probably isn't correct. Some people call them "Naked Ladies"........hmmmmmm. Foliage dies in late Spring, and then in early August, beautiful pink clusters of lillies on a single stem bloom oh so beautifully.

Off to get ready for Church, pastor is having a day of prayer for our country, and I might add, or OUR President W.
When he mentions something bad about the USA he blames the 'two peas in a pod, the Clintons'. When he refers to the good things of the USA, he refers to President Bush. My kind of man.
