I was just curious and wanting to know what we all do for a living when we're not here scouring the threads of FR. So what do YOU do for a living?

OK, guys, let's fess up and tell the truth - we all live together in a commune in Colorado and we earn our living by selling these:

I'm a punching bag for women.
To homosexuals, I am immoral filth, incarnate.
To American computer companies I am the only person in America its safe to openly discriminate against.
If I were joking, I'd say I was one of the millions lining up at docks to escape from America to the the third world.
To the mainstream media, I am the butt of their jokes that claim my cultural inferiority and that I am worthless.
To minorities I am the oppressor to be loathed.
To the Left, I am to be despised.
To my children I am simply a paycheck provider and they are taught I am completely unnecessary.
To our government, I am a damned inconvenience that they will tolerate as long as I pay usurious taxes.
If I object to any of the above, I am called a whiner. I am reviled, feared and hated. And I am well aware of it.
I am a generous straight white Christian male, self-made IT and accounting professional who is over 40 years of age, lover of the Constitution, who believes in merit with a capital 'M' and who has always played be the rules.

Former newspaperman, semiretired news/research consultant.
At present resident in Memphis, TN and sometimes found professionally playing the banjo, sort of:
The tourists here on Beale Street pay me to stop. I think it's not so much the playing as the singing. It also makes the dogs howl, and the carriage horses bolt and run away.

Only morons hang up on Recruiters.Or people that don't want to talk to slimeballs one step above telemarketers, like you.

Yeah, I used to analyze the Segway before it was known as Ginger. Now that IT has been released, I just analyze business process flows for making big ol' drill motors and pipe.
To: guitfiddlist
Hey, if you're one of those idiots who hangs up on "slimeballs" who have opportunites to present, fine. When someone hangs up on a recruiter, that's an instant disqualifier. They aren't a good candidate. I'd rather figure out someone's an idiot on the first call than waste my time and finding it out on the third.
