I was just curious and wanting to know what we all do for a living when we're not here scouring the threads of FR. So what do YOU do for a living?

Mainframe DP Manager, COBOL apologist, raconteur of tall tales (mostly from my USAF days), thorn in boss's arse, and - my personal favorite - beer taster.

Plan to take up the latter occupation on a more or less full-time basis in six months when I retire.

I got my current job back in 1999 through a recruiter. He had been pestering me for a year or more.

I finally gave him the time of day when he found something close enough that I wouldn't have to move.
I've never looked back, and I love it here!
