I feel for the men of the cloth that are getting tarred with the brush from the media. Not every cleric is a pedophile.

Tedious. One yappy dog, another with arthritis, 3 cats, two of which have been sick while I'm here, the occasional mysterious dog poop or cat pee/vomit appearing on rugs and other places from time to time, and a garden that's almost more trouble than the animals, more time consuming, anyway. The garden's not doing too badly considering I don't have a green thumb, I've got the Black Thumb of Death, but so far the only problems I've got are two rose bushes with some black rot on the leaves which the fungicide doesn't seem to be curing, and I almost killed one basil plant by overwatering. God, I haven't lived in a house since 1968 for crying out loud! Anyway, I'm way behind on my work, so I'll see you next week.
I can't wait to get back to my apartment with my own pets, the silverfish and cockroaches so kindly provided by my landlord! :^)

A group of kindergartners were trying to become accustomed to the first grade. The biggest hurdle they faced was that the teacher insisted on no baby talk "You need to use 'big people' words," she'd always remind them.
She asked Chris what he had done over the weekend. "I went to visit my Nana." "No, you went to visit your GRANDMOTHER. Use big people words!"
She then asked Mitchell what he had done. "I took a ride on a choo-choo." She said No, you took a ride on a TRAIN! Use big people words."
She then asked Ron what he had done. "I read a book," he replied. "That's WONDERFUL!" the teacher said. "What book did you read?" Ron thought about it, then puffed out his little chest with great pride and said, "Winnie the Sh*T."

miss you, arghy! i will send xspup to assist with your gardening chores....he completely disemboweled one of the planters i have on the front steps, disgorging all of the mangled plants and dirt out of it. i think that extending the electric fence to include the front landscaping is the answer. xshub thinks that the murder of xspup is the answer. another screaming fight was had. i wonder how often pets are a grounds for divorce.....

Yes... an after that incident, they were learning vocabulary words...
The teacher asked if the class could use the word fascinate in a sentence. Little Gabrielle raised her hand and said,
Last week Mommy took me to the Zoo, to see the Pandas, and it was fascinating....
Well, Said Miss Rika, "that's good, but I wanted Fascinate"
Little xsexmommy chimed in.."during gym last week, i peeked into the boys lockerroom, and found it fascinating..."
Miss Rika let that slide by, and said, I am still looking for Fascinate...
Seeing that Ron was the only hand raised, reluctantly she called on him.
My sister has a sweater with 10 buttons but her T*Ts are so big she can only Fasten eight.

Hello Arghie, nice to see you!
To: dubyaismypresident
I thought it was cute - snatched it from the FReepathon thread. Speaking of which there was an instant replay of a totally innocent and coincidental timing of two posts - let's see if I can drag the replay over here.
At the time I was posting a state flag and nickname of the state to thank a FReeper for a donation - another poster was posting a "caption this" type photo.
BRB with it!!!

I think I sponsored a CaptionThis contest at the last FundRaiser.
Do you guys with any money left think this photo is worthy of a contest?

I don't know. Maybe it's just me. But does anyone else think it's a little odd that
John Gotti, the most drossy human being I can think of whose last name isn't Clinton, is getting a more affectionate obituary from the New York Times than, say, Ronald Reagan ever will?
