I think it's a very interesting concept. Having three sexes--or four or more--makes about as much sense as having two.

One thing though...how does homosexuality contribute to procreation? I've never understood that.

Your friend reminds me of Isadora Duncan when she asked George Bernard Shaw to father her child because, she said, "I would like to have a child with my looks and your brain." Shaw replied, of course: "I must refuse. Suppose the child had my looks and your brain?"

I think your friend is increadably ignorant of even basic science. She is also increadibly ignorant of even the basic principals of any religion.

If you look in nature, you find all kinds of things that go beyond the "norm".
There are species that
Reproduce asexually,
Self-sexually (meaning the same animal, oceanic usually, can impregnate itself and give birth),
Matriarchial species,
Patriarchial species,
Homosexuality in a variety of species,
A greater number of hermaphroditism than is publicized (where a birth exhibits physical characteristics of both sexes,
Some that use sex for pleasure, humans and dolphins, for example.

These things are all "natural" among certain species. Why did the Creator mix things up so much? Perhaps He has Plan is beyond our limited comprehension. After all, it is rather arrogant to think we can question Him about doing this. I figure if He can create a whole universe with thousands of distinct species, worlds, galaxies, I feel rather small at attempting to question His Design.

The "Third sex" is an old idea, originating in Germany.

ERRR....a "Third sex?" If that's so, why are they SOOOO unhealthy? Why can't they duplicate themselves? And, why can people switch between a second sex and third sex whenever they want to? Doesn't sound too "created" to me, sounds contrived.

The Tenctonese have three sexes; but then again, they're an imaginary species from another planet who get wasted on sour milk.

There is no more twisted logic then by the sodomites to justify their position.
