Well, I have heard this before, and I think it's another attempt to use a neutral term ( third sex ) to create a spin- "it's just another ____, no big deal." Kind of like "they all do it" or "everyone's a crook...."
FWIW, I don't have a problem with gay folks who mind their own business, and don't bother minors. Those who are always yakking about it, and those who target children, are a problem to me.

Durn it! I neglected to point out that this "third sex" spin is also scientifically inaccurate and intellectually dishonest- genetically & physically, people are male or female- there's no "third way" possible. You are either one, or the other.
