Imagine catching me on a bad night... |

Life must be good since you folks are enjoying it...;-) |
Hoo boy, I did go back to bed for a nice mid-morning nap, until the thunderstorms woke me up. :-/ I must have been more tired than I realized, I just re-read some of my posts, yikes! lol
Ya'll are so welcome for the pic's, and here I was worried that it might be a bit much. :-) Does it show that when it comes to pretty things I just can't make up my mind?
Now THAT'S classy!! Hey, I could hop the Acela in Boston and meet y'all down there!! We lived in NJ, about 50 miles from NYC, but only went there three times in the 6 1/2 yrs. we lived there! And we never got to see a Broadway show!
Hi mini_teacup! Nice to meet you, your mom is a terrific lady!
That's okay I get weak in the knees for a man with one eye and a pointy head.
....I can't believe I'm going to leave that right out there and hit the post button!
Whoever they are I wish they'd stop by my house! :-)
The Barbara Bush story is definitely embellished. The Bush twins have had beefed up SS protection since 9/11. No way would the SS allow someone to even touch her purse, much less remove it.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week ahead. It will be much better for most of us after 4/15 and we get our taxes in on time.
HLL - Did you find that missing W2 and are your taxes done yet?

When looking for souvenirs, be sure to check out the "sweet gum" baskets. They are very beautiful and very durable and also will be extinct soon as the art is not being passed down much anymore.
I don't know about sweet gum baskets - why do I want this? (I know I don't need it.) Thanks.
Because daisyscarlett said the art of creating the baskets isn't being passed down and soon they'll be gone forever!
I have one, Mr. Betty brought one home from South Carolina when he was working on a project in Hilton Head. They come in all sorts of shapes, they're made from sweet grass. Mine hangs on the wall in the dining room.
My Grandmother gave me two pine needle baskets her sisters wove when they would visit Florida. They're so special, I'll never let them go. :-)
After arriving in Washington from Camp David, Md., by helicopter, President Bush retrieves his black Scottish terrier, Barney, that wandered off to a nearby tree on the grounds of the Naval Observatory, Sunday, April 14, 2002. The helicopter landing site was changed because of the annual garden tour at the White House. (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite)
