I am going to our County Republican meeting in April (soon) as a "delegate" - doesn't take much to get there at our precinct level....from there we get to try to go to State, and then to National (in a year, I think.) Wasn't planning on pushing forward to higher levels, but if this could be a GUILD thing, it could be more fun. But, it is fun getting together with like minded people - just frustrating sometimes voting on the party platform, etc.

Good Morning and Happy Easter!

We had our family Easter dinner yesterday and a great time was had by all.

I don't know whether the new format is making posting and getting to a new spot extra slow or if it's my computer this morning. Ugh, so far not liking it very much.

As if logging on and finding everything topsey-turvey wasn't enough, I was pinged to this thread, Decorated Eggs Representing Each State, which links to The White House. There I was, reading through the posts all excited to see what the Florida egg looked like when I see this......

I think to myself, no... couldn't be... has to be that posters idea of a joke, you know Florida being Floriduh and all. But nooooooooooo, it's for real! And just guess where the artist (and I use that term loosely) is from?! West Palm Beach! You can hardly believe it huh? LOL Nah, we here in Floriduh haven't had enough embarrassment! Thank you sir, may I have another?!

This is the last public appearance of the Queen Mum. She was 101 at the time and just look at how classy she looks. She wore "heels" and jewels right till the end. She would have loved our Guild, I suspect. RIP Beloved Queen.
