Are you sick and tired of everyone complaining about Bush and the GOP? Are you sitting around wondering what you can do about it? Become a Republican Delegate!!!
It's a couple meetings a year, usually a state convention every now and then, and the National Convention once every 4 years where you can meet Fellow Guild Delegates!!
Check with your state GOP. Becoming a delegate is easy and YOU will be able to shape the party and the platform.
Make this year your year to be involved. Let the others complain, be above complaints and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!

Good morning friends.

Good advice, and heaven knows our local and state GOP groups need all the participation they can get.
This new format is going to take some getting used to. There's been speculation that it's necessitated by the impending settlement of the L.A. Times lawsuit; I don't know.

Good Mornin! Just joined the local Republican women with that in mind.
Have a blessed weekend!

Good Morning! Thanks for the GREAT advise. I've been thinking about joining the Republican Women's group here. I'm READY to get involved.!!!!!
HEY! What's up with the new format???? It was hard to find stuff before, but now???? YIKES!!! (Oh well, I will get used to it. :) )

I can't stand the format. I couldn't get my local Michigan messages off the top of my screen so I finally just took my state flag off of my profile. It was the only solution I could find.
I would love for all of us to be delegates. I think it would be a major blast for the Guild to get together at the 2004 National Convention.
Part of my new activism for this year is that I joined the International Republican Institute and have volunteered to monitor elections around the world. I think it will be a lifetime experience. Sometimes we have to break out of our molds and shake things up.

I think being a Delegate with y'all would be a HOOT!!! You know that all of us from the guild would shake things up. I can just see us all showing up with our pearls and looking good!!! We would ROCK!!! :)

i've thought about this for awhile, there's a fairly strong GOP presence on LI. i'm going to do it!!!

I'm not cerntain who is now filling the delagate post. Wouldn't want to step on toes! Unless they're RINO toes.
New format will take some getting used to. WE WILL!

I'd love to go to the national convention. We have some goofy system here of electing delegates, but at least I have a couple of years to create a little name recognition among my fellow GOPers before 2004.

Have an idea for research if anyone is interested. Let's see which lawyers are representing each side in the constitutionality of the CFR.
Then dig up the backgroud on them. Should be an 'hiss'to(a)rical group of attorneys.
I've got a start. Are you interested?

The way it works in Michigan is that we have like 60 or so delegates in each district. You call your party, get your form, and you appear on the primary ballot. It takes ONE vote in my state or else you can be appointed. It's so easy.

Are you sick and tired of everyone complaining about Bush and the GOP? YES!!!!!!!!!! We need to email Fox News and let them know how we feel. The other news outlets, no surprise there, but not Fox News.

I guess people think it's safe to bash Bush since we have been so successful with lowering taxes, restoring dignity to the White House, and the War on Terrorism.
I can't tell you how sick it makes me when I see those threads calling for Bush's impeachment over CFR. I look at the screen names and see that most are libertarians anyway. I guess they all have a lot of time on their hands.
