Marc Thiessen spent the week denying the war was a factor and calling JD Vance disloyal for blaming it and the economy.
Don Jr. fired back by name, calling those pushing that narrative disgusting.
Thiessen has been arguing there was âno downsideâ to striking Iran, and in response to that, Don Jr. is asking whether heâll call Trump's own son disloyal too.

Don Jr did point out, correctly, the Trump adminstration has done positive things.
Time to cut bait on the Iran war quagmire.
Laura Ingraham was indeed correct in what she said today on her show.
Don Jr. often tends to pick the wrong people to publicly fight.
The only political future for potential Republicans running for president will be to distance themselves as much as possible from Trump
Marc Thiessen is an establishment GOP propagandist from the GWB administration. He is absolutely the right person for anyone in political circles to pick a fight with these days.
Trump has gone off the rails and now is toxic... I am thinking he has came down with dementia..
Don Jr is the one that pushed Vance for VP. đ¤
Well they’re complete idiots if they think the Iran war did not lead directly to the Republican wipeout in the midterms. Read the exit polls. Its obvious.
You arenât the only one thinking this.
Don Jr. - all the bluster and ego of his father minus the intelligence and ability.
But Vance told the truth.
> The last time the US targeted Iran was September 1st. <
Well, okay. But that doesnât mean the war must be over. Americans will accept that the conflict has ended when Trump says so. As in something like, âWe have met our objectives.â
Until then, much of the public will be confused and unsure.
On the surface, the Iran war is likely responsible for the midterm fiasco, both because of those who didnât like the armed conflict itself and those who were upset by the economic repercussions of higher gas prices and the impact those prices have had on the cost of everything else. The underlying cause, though, I think is Trumpâs ego. For all his business savvy, he has refused to recognize that there are some people and entities that you simply wonât be able to cut a successful deal with. Thatâs why his promises to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict and wrap up the Iran war quickly were foolish to make, though I think the latter was possible if he hadnât backed away from doing what was necessary to accomplish it, going for a deal with a regime that wonât abide by one rather than pursuing decisive victory.
âIf you believe in his policies -- what he's advertising to be his policies -- he's the last person that could actually execute them and achieve them. He does not have the discipline, he does not have the ability for strategic thinking or linear thinking, or setting priorities, or how to get things done in the system." -- William Barr, 5/5/2023
Ah! notice so many Republicans showing their true cowardly colors; jumping off the ship when adversity hits.
These aren't your ordinary two bit dictators. These are religious fanatics that believe Allah compels them to wipe us out.
You've got to be out of your mind to think we should leave Iran alone.
Everyone has been saying since March that this needs to be wrapped up before the election because we knew it would make getting through the midterms difficult.
I perceive the biggest mistake of this war is Trump not making it very clear to the Iranian dissidents that the United States would not be there to do anything for weeks. He left the impression that we would be there tomorrow, so many people who would not have otherwise taken to the streets, took to the streets and weree massacred by the regime.
We lost between 30,000 and 60,000 potential supporters to overthrow the regime, and it's all because Trump inspired them to rally in public before we had our assets there to help them.
*THAT* was the most serious mistake of this undertaking.
Saying things doesn't make them true. The 5th fleet is in the area.
The U.S. launched attacks on Queshm island on this past Monday, and attacked some anti-aircraft targeting U.S. assets. I'm not disagreeing that our forces shouldn't have done this, but having a naval fleet in your backyard isn't cutting bait.
