Will Trump Resign?
11/04/2026

Will Trump step aside and put JD in charge? Trump has nothing to gain by staying around except to be pounded into the ground daily.

Not in his blood to do so. Plus the people leceted him to serve 4 years, not two. Though I will predict, JD does not run in 2028

Trump will be impeached on day 1 (or close to that) of the next Congress whether or not he resigns. (If he resigns, impeachment will be to prohibit him from holding any federal office in the future.)

If it happens, which I sincerely doubt, it will only happen closer to January next year.

I think we all know what’s coming. As soon as Congress gets seated next January, one of the 1st things are going to do is vote for impeachment. Is there a possibility that they’ll try to convince RINOs in the Senate to go along with this so they get their 2⁄3 majority to convict? I think it’s a possibility. If they get their conviction, you know they’re gonna try to imprison him too.

Somehow though, Trump doesn’t strike me as somebody who would quit.

Also, if he did resign, is there a possibility they would still try to find a way to put him in prison? Could they?

He should stay. The dems will spend most of their time going after him and less time tinkering with the laws.
It’s a good thing AOC wasn’t on the ticket this year!

He should rename the oceans to TRUMP ocean, then he can resign.

I don’t see that in him. He may be even more in his element now that the gloves will be off. I look for more of his ‘allies’ to stab him in the back. In ‘28 I can see DeSantis stepping into this mess as an outsider. Anyone associated with Trump will fade away out of shame and embarrassment. Hopefully the Florida governor runs a smarter campaign. A few early debate challenges to democrat leaders will help. Do it before they come out of the woodwork in the spring. Perhaps he should start out with the new upstarts-Al Sayed/Talarico.

That’s just it. I have no idea. There’s nothing that I can think of that they could actually convict him on. I am quite sure that the demonrats Have several ideas and will trumpet them loudly.

This is the first time in history the party in power has lost the mid terms so Trump will probably step down like Obama and Clinton did

If Vance has to pardon Trump he’s toast. I don’t think Rubio will run either. DeSantis is the next man up IMHO.

right- you have no idea....they tried to jail him multiple time when he was a citizen- and failed...and the Supreme Court eventually ruled in his favor..

He now has a pen, a phone and the power of the pardon...
