Pity that totalitarian leftists have taken over the words FASCISM and FASCISTS to describe conservatives.
As usual they use Alinsky rules to end run around conservatives and are owning the language.
While conservatives here and elsewhere parse what FASCIST MEANS they are being tarred with it.
Think about this.... THE REAL FASCISTS OF OUR WORLD TODAY... THE ANTIFAS... THE ISLAMISTS....THE SOCIALISTS....THE DEMOCRATS ....THE ANARCHISTS.....
ALL ARE USING the term FASCIST in unison to market and sell the idea that you and other conservatives are a murdererous group WHO SHOULD BE KILLED.
Madison Avenue never did it better.
Solution grab the terms from them NOW and use it when describing any leftist individual or organization or idea.

Just to get it out of the way — There is a difference between the National Socialism of Germany (which was heavily race-based) and the Fascism of Italy (which didn’t care about race).
Mussolini, in Italy, started as a Socialist and then became a Fascist and always said that Fascism was a Collectivist philosophy.
Collectivism is a general umbrella that (IMO) covers Communism, Socialism, and Fascism. It’s about groups and not individuals. It’s about an all-powerful, authoritarian State. You need Big Government, with power over all aspects of society, to engage in social engineering to create a society which (theoretically) works for everyone.

Conservatism, on the other hand, emphasizes individual rights and not group rights. Conservatism cares about individuals, then families, then local communities. Conservatism is not focused on a powerful central state because such a thing would sap power from the individual, the family, and the local community. It focuses on preserving tradition rather than building a Utopia based on new, modern, untested ideas.
I think Fascism is completely on the Left. The main reason the Communists don’t like it is because much of modern Communist thought is centered on the idea of International Revolution which is active all over the globe at once, while Fascism is about National Pride and Autarky, or economic self-reliance for the nation.
Communists today see a patriotic man like Trump who loves the nation of America and they automatically say “Fascist”. The discussion really needs to be deeper than that.
