Farmers Almanac ^ | na | na

Posted on 11/01/2026 1:17:26 AM PDT by Morgana

Quick Reference: Daylight Saving Time 2026

* DST 2026 status: In effect right now. Clocks sprang forward Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 2:00 a.m.

* Next time change (Fall Back): Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 2:00 a.m. (2:00 a.m. becomes 1:00 a.m.)

* Congress: The House passed the Sunshine Protection Act (H.R. 139) on July 14, 2026, 308 to 117. It is with the Senate Commerce Committee and is not law. Clocks fall back on November 1 unless that changes.

* Set by: Uniform Time Act of 1966, as amended by the Energy Policy Act of 2005

* Not observed in: Arizona (except the Navajo Nation), Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands

* Correct spelling: Daylight Saving Time (no β€œs”)

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Act like you at a Benny Hinn church and Fall Back.

Now how many of you forgot this was tonight?

You could label me a charismatic and you wouldn’t be totally wrong.

But I LOL’s at this slur anyway. :-)

I’m in Dublin. My clock is just all screwed up. Currently waiting to get on a plane, got up at 5 local. Will sleep on the plane (I hope) and check clocks when I get home. Dogs will be messed up on feeding time for a few days.

Your phone, computer, cable or satellite TV will probably show the correct time, and maybe your car does too.

Great. Instead of my "normal" time of 4:30 am, it's 3:30 Sunday morning and I'm wide awake.

Thanks John Thune.

According to insurance statistics for 2 weeks after each time change there is a spike in heart attacks, strokes and accidents of all sorts.

How many times have our elected elite promised to end this mess only for them to somehow forget to do so?

Forgot and was up an hour early. This will take two weeks to adjust to as usual. Wish they’d pick one and stick with it.

Knowing that my phone, and my computer are automatically going to adjust by the time I wake up kind of takes all the fun out of it. And the cat. She won’t let me forget that it’s time to feed her an hour “earlier”.

It's too late now. If you missed it, you've got to wait another year. Better luck next time!

Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?

Many people have auto-adjusting clocks and will not notice the time change until the sun goes down an hour ahead of usual. An hour of sunshine stolen by John Thune.

Time is a human concstruct...it’s our way of making sense of growing up and growing old.

According to Einstein, the distinction between past present and future is an illusion.

I just know my present sleeping illusion is interrupted by past events that affect my future.

I woke up this Sunday morning and noticed the time on my atomic clock in the bathroom, I hadn’t heard anything about it.

Auto time machines do it with out you noticing.
They auto make the change. Notice FR, your hand
carried device, etc. FR changed at midnight.

My dog had no idea that she was supposed to sleep an extra hour this morning. She is not a smart dog.

Only reason I hate the time change is because I have a Casio wrist watch that is a major pain in the πŸ‘ to try to figure out how to change the time. I usually have to search up a 3 minute YouTube every time and watch it probably 3 o 4 times before I finally get it right.
