A prominent Minnesota Democrat who served in the state's House of Representatives revealed on Thursday he believes the federal probe into Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has legitimacy.
It's the latest signal that the political dam may be breaking as scandals and investigations into the congresswoman continue to pile up.
"Democrats should understand that the allegation is almost certainly true—whatever conclusion they draw from that point could vary—and her denials calling it a right-wing, Islamophobic or racist conspiracy are almost certainly not," Joe Radinovich posted on X in reference to the claims that Omar married her brother as part of an alleged fraudulent immigration scheme.
Radinovich, who served as a Minnesota state representative from 2013 to 2015 as a member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), added to his post that, in addition to the probe into her immigration status, the investigation into her finances could also be problematic.
"And then I’d be very, very careful about how I qualified on allegations around her finances—where her defense looks similar and where no meaningful questions have been answered publicly, and where any objective look at the evidence doesn’t look…great," the former state representative said.
Radinovich, a well-connected DFL operative with ties to the party’s state, federal and Minneapolis political establishments, managed Democrat Rick Nolan’s 2016 congressional campaign, ran Jacob Frey’s successful 2017 campaign for Minneapolis mayor and later served as Frey’s chief of staff. He also won the DFL nomination for Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District in 2018 before losing to Republican Pete Stauber.
Briana Rose Lee, a Minneapolis DFL activist who served as an operations director for Omar’s campaign operation, responded to the post calling it a "witch hunt."

Democrats only care about power. How they react is a calculation where they decide what they must do to maximize their power . Omar makes that a tough choice because the self-entitled America hating parasites they deliberately shipped in will not be happy with Omar being abandoned.
No one in Minneapolis needs to bust a move, but DOJ and DHS should look carefully at the case to see what jurisdiction outside DC they can lodge it in. Because I think we can all understand a perfect prosecution in front of a DC panel meeting with Jury Nullification. This is not a situation where you want her to resign under pressure from Dems; this is where you want to see her convicted, denaturalized, and then walked offstage (live on CSPAN) by federal agents who take her to the airport, remove her passport, and put her on a plane to that shithole she came from.
Her Somali tribe will reelect her.
Before possible fraud/deportation hearings begin, she’ll return to the House of Representatives next month.
Then what?
Will the GOP move to boot her?
I doubt it. That would require what passes in DC as “courage.”
The linchpin is the Minnesota DA. He’s covering everyone’s backside from state charges. Tim Waltz and Ilhan Omar owe their continued freedom to him.

That's because traitorous Demonicrats don't care. To them legal or illegal only depends on whether something is to their advantage.
Marrying a sibling? Using a false name? Election fraud? Murdering your baby or even older child or spouse? 57 varieties of genders? Males playing in female sports and in female locker rooms?

Filing for election under a false name.
Renewing her passport under a false name.
No verification of naturalization whatsoever, ie; not eligible to hold office.
Statutes of limitation have not run out on many of her crimes.
The DOJ has her dead to rights, she’ll be going away.
The MN DFL and US House should answer for not vetting her, there should be consequences.
