A gun control nut vandalized the 9/11 Memorial Reflecting Pool with red spray paint in a broad daylight political stunt.
Jonathan Andrew Tijerina, 31, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and making graffiti for tagging a section of the North Tower reflecting pool with the name of his website Monday evening, police said, according to CBS News New York.
“Juststopkillingkids.com,” read the red spray-painted markings written across the names of dozens of victims engraved into the memorial at the footprint of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attack.
Thomas P. Sullivan Tijerina, 31, took credit for the vile desecration, posting video of himself in the midst of the act.
The alleged vandal recorded the entire stunt from start to finish, capturing himself walking up to the memorial, pulling a spray can out of his bag and writing his message across several panels, according to several videos posted to Instagram.
Tijerina identified himself as the person behind the vandalism that cost over $2,500 in damages, according to police.
“My name is Jon Tijerina and I’ve just spray-painted ‘just stop killing kids’ on the 9/11 Memorial,” Tijerina boasted.
The 9/11 Memorial and Museums announced it had removed the spray paint, returning the memorial to its previous state.
“The 9/11 Memorial is a sacred place of reflection at the heart of a rebuilt World Trade Center that honors the 2,983 victims killed in the September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993 terrorist attacks. Yesterday’s brief incident was swiftly addressed by security staff and law enforcement, and the impacted area was immediately restored to its commemorative state,” a spokesperson told CBS New York.

Just a hunch here but I’m guessing his website doesn’t link to Planned Parenthood. The names he defaced should be engraved on his a$$ with a branding iron.

Arrested and charge, but most likely will be released with a hand slap, if he’s even convicted at all.
If the same thing were to happen to a St. Floyd statues, there would be nationwide outrage and the accused would be brought up on “hate-crime” charges and sentenced to 50 years.
He needs to have a “meeting” with some members of the NYFD.
I’d hold this POS down, force his mouth open and spray an entire can of Rust-Oleum spray paint down his throat.
The cops should have tossed him over the side.
9/11 was more about box cutters than guns...
I have visited the Towers a few times.
I have visited the Memorial site. It is stunning.
I will refrain from what I think is suitable future for this $hitbag.
But prior posters have some good ideas..
The weapons of choice for the 9/11 terrorists were box cutters.
As far as I’m concerned you can shoot him.
Spray paint him and put him in prison. Not they eyes.
