Whites living in a gated compound. Why is that necessary? Why does he need a gun? If he doesn’t leave the country with his EXTENDED family the next one is on him.
Per yahoo 40% of white South Africans want to leave. That means the other 60% are chumps. By the time the issue will come to a violent head it will be too late for too many. The UN will drag it’s feet and Europe will dump the problem on the US. Too many people in these situations don’t see what’s happening.
Plus, I'll bet his ears are still ringing. Nothing can be done about that, though. Kudos to him, though. He was a champ.

If it were up to me, I’d grant all 4.5 million White South Africans political asylum immediately.
He was a bit slow on the draw. Having your shirt over a holster while sitting in a car, makes the draw rather. I think he could have taking 3/4 of a second off the draw for his pistol.

Wait a minute. If 40% of the whites(1.8 million)want to leave what do you do with the 60% left(2.7 million)who want to stay? They’ll end up leaving under emergency circumstances no doubt. There’s Australia, New Zealand, England, and there’s Canada/US. We(US/Canada) take in the 1.8 million who want to leave. The rest of the pale-faced countries can take in their don’t-have-a-clue brethren. Count on them needing our evacuation help when the SHTF there.
Been to SA several times. Wife’s family lives there and she visits regularly. If you can afford II you have fencing topped with barb wite and a couple mean dogs. A gated community helps. A number of years ago common entry point was via roof after tossing meat to occupy dogs.
You do what you can for your own security. Police are spotty. May be suspicious themselves. I know when I visited it was not unusual to see people wandering thru front yard every night. Only her Moms back yard was fenced. She had several attempted break ins that were interrupted by private security.
Yikes. She was a brave lady.
I saw one house in her neighbor hood that had two concrete walls topped with razor wire. Dogs everywhere. Maybe mg posts? Looked impregnable.
